Just trying to locate anyone on the south side of Indy. My son in intending to join the DEP with the Navy. He just graduated high school on May 25 and announced to me that he was going in the Navy. Feeling every possible emotion right now and trying to adjust to the news he just dropped on me.
Matt's mom Sandy,
Close? I know Cathy L is in Mooresville, My mother-in-law is in Greenwood, and I'm in Martinsville. Not in town anymore, but just a few minutes away. Is there something I can do for you?
Anyone from the southside of Indianapolis?
Kaye, She is so alert and ADORABLE!!
Here's an idea that works for us, as our grandbabies are 984 miles away. My daughter set up a blog at blogspot.com. Every month (sometimes more frequently) she posts pictures and notes about what the kids have been doing. You can check it out at ababyinsalem@blogspot.com It has been the only thing to save us from having broken hearts. Of course, you can skype when Anabelle is old enough. :)
Hey, Indiana... here's a pic of our newest "crew member!" Her name is Anabelle and she arrived on April 18, in Silverdale. Although she turned us into grandparents (gasp!), we adore her! I was blessed to arrive the same day SHE arrived - and then spent 3-1/2 weeks with my sailor and his wife.
Now, I learning to live with the agony of not being close enough to drive over for some sugars (sob, whimper...)! Hugs, k.
Cathy Lorene,
I friended you! (Is friended a word?) You're just 15 minutes up the road. I'm so glad to have a neighbor who knows what this journey is! (I'm a frequent flyer at )the M'ville Lowe's! haha)
Your daughter is beautiful. :) I bet you are on pins and needles waiting to see her at PIR. I started pacing as soon as June 1 rolled around..just knowing PIR was in the same month, now. LOL My son, Dillon, graduated from Martinsville in 2010. He will be going to Pensacola, FL. (AW-ATF) Where is your daughter going to A school and what is her rate?
I'm looking forward to comparing notes, Cathy.
Rennee,
