Thanks everyone, I am so excited for this weekend I get to see my sailor, I can't wait!!!!!! I will check out face book. Once again thankyou!!!
Hi friends. Watched the end of the Indy 500 while in Virginia. We had a great visit with our sailor and all his friends (and their appetites for home cooked food!)
Hope to catch up with you at the July meet and greet that Kaye organizes. Will be in town for my high school reunion, and would only have to stay an extra day. Sis has offered her spare bedroom, too :)
Thanks, Cathie! Be sure to post all of the details abt graduation when you get back. I'm so excited for you...it just keeps get closer!
ReneeBc, My son' Division was in trouble all the time,he said after hell week it did get alot better.Your SR will figure it out, My SR couldn't receive any mail for awhile, only could write. He also said he was in a bad division, they started with 89 & are graduating with 66,I believe that is what he said.Hang in there it does get better after battlestations.
My sailor is staying at Great Lakes studying OS Operation Specialist .He came out of boot camp as a E2,I am so proud of him!! If I see div 203 I will tell them to call home, when you get that call It is awesome!!! I couldn't sleep the night of Battlestations ,I just wanted it over & to get my call I am a sailor. Thanks for cheering him on & Goodluck to your SR.
It's so nice that he'll be at GL for A school. You live relatively close enough that you can plan to see him when he has liberty!
Unforunately I haven't received a call or a letter, yet. As I understand it, the other div's are glad they don't have my son's RDC! Uhg. I imagine privileges are being withheld for one reason or another, but I can see my son stepping up to figure out how to fix the situation. I'm hoping for a letter next week, or a call, or both. :)
Have a terrific time at the graduation and enjoy the extended time you get over the weekend!
Cathie,
Oh my gosh! I can't wait...you're a head of us by a 4 weeks, but I am counting the days. Cheering for those ahead on the calendar just makes the Fridays fly by! If you see div 203 march by outside, tell those boys to call home. LOL
Where is your sailor going to A school? And what is his rate? Tell him other Hoosier moms are cheering for him on this proud graduation day!
ReneeBC, Yes I am going, I am so excited!!!!!!
