Hi,  Just wanted to post that our son, a corpsman with the marines will be deploying very soon.  First one.  I think we are all a little nervous.

Good morning all.  I am at the hotel, getting ready to head to PIR.  So excited to finally see my Sailor, ever though we don't get much time with him.  Thank you all for being so welcoming!

Becky--it has been changed and those remarks don't show up as activity.  On the main page, no one's current activity shows up either.  I think it's due to how large our group has become over the past few years and it was moving much more quickly.

Lake party sounds fun---but that would be two weekends in a row to Indy from St. Louis.  The high school reunion has been in the makings for a year, so guess that will be my trip back home.

Comment by Reid's Ma on April 3, 2012 at 9:02pm

where will the lake party be? I would really like to have some f2f with some moms!

Comment by CeeCee on April 1, 2012 at 12:09pm

Sounds good here Becky.....yea, can't do anything about the weather, except stay inside or use the lake :-) Will be watching for definite date!

Hey there! Although we're not physically in Indiana anymore, SR (my husband) and I grew up and lived in Terre haute area until 3 years ago. We now live in Michigan, but we're barely north of the state line and still have lots of family in IN. SR left 03/14 for BC and PIR 5/11. We're all so excited and proud of him!
