OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

For kids still in school, you can use their Student IDs, if they have a photo.

I went to get my 15 yr old son a photo ID today and learned that you don't get it in the mail for 7-10 days, my daughter graduates this coming friday. My question is will they except the little temporary thing that they get until the real one comes in the mail? My son really wants to go to the graduation.

Hey, "YA'LL!" We will have an honored guest at our next Westies dinner. The chief recruiter for Avon, PO Jason Kohlmann, has accepted my invitation to join us. Plus, I'll be bringing my own personal sailor, who'll be home on leave. So, for those of you who want to tell your friends you had dinner with handsome, single men in uniform, RSVP on the Event calendar! Hugs,k.

Katelyn, be sure to tell us when he's become "real!" Make a note of the time and write the date/time in his baby book. Hugs! k.

I should be getting the "I'm a Sailor " call today. :)
Comment by Pat on April 7, 2010 at 5:17pm
Yes NDJ, that "ya'll" and a few other 'words' are imbedded in Kaye's vocabulary.
Comment by Kaye S. on April 7, 2010 at 1:38pm
Jim, there is NO way to get that "ya'll" erased from my vocabulary... I think it's embedded on a cellular level! k.

So, would it be grammatically correct in Indiana to say, "Go, Dawgs, ya'll?" ;-)
