GMA - CBC Mom mentioned that any item would be welcome. Blue Star Mom's will work it in to the packaging. If it is not used for this shipment I am sure they will use it in another productive way.

Hope all of you are having a nice weekend. I keep ALL of our Sailors in prayer.

Congratulations and welcome home from P.I.R. ! Was that one of the most awesome celebrations you have been a part of ?? It was for us. Hope you get to P-cola soon and have a wonderful visit with your Sailor. There was not enough time for us to really visit with our Sailor after P.I.R. Will your Sailor be in P-cola longer due to classes or gov't issues? What will he be training for?

Ha! Somehow that just doesn't sound right, but who knows!!  This whole thing is ridiculous, really.  And your sign below pretty much sums it up!

One of the mom's in my nuke moms group posted that her son got his teeth cleaned the other day and they only cleaned 3/4 of them. AND they told him the reason being was because of the budget cuts in the Navy!  She said it was NOT a joke!  Good grief......
