Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Jackie, our prayers are with your dad, we know he is a great guy...look at his daughter! Our dad is 80 and a WW2 vet and the best dad in the world - we treasure everyday that we have him.

Kathy, it seems like a few sailors have gotten orders to the TR recently. Look for our friend Marsher (Karen) her son just reported to the ship in the last few days as well.

Oh Kathy, prayers to you. Your son is probably caught between being excited and overwhelmed reporting to his new ship.

You CAN say the name of the ship on here - in fact there may already be a group set up for his ship or ...you can start one.

How exciting Elizabeth - the Geo. HW Bush! A plank owner - wow! I watched the special of the Bush being built and was fascinated by it all.

Sounds like I'm in a treat at Belfords - not only do i get to meet some great moms...I've never been to Belfords!

Hey JAX Moms! The GA moms just wanted to stop by and invite you to join us for lunch on February 28th in Savannah. It sounds like many of you are closer to Savannah than I am! It's about a four hour road trip for me but I have a bonus waiting for me - my daughter goes to college in the area so I get to spend some time with her :-D

All the details about the gathering is posted in events, see S. GA moms and please join us if you can.

Hello. M name is Samantha. Im not from FL but I will be going down there to visit my boyfriend Valentine's weekend, but heres my problem. My sister got me a great deal on a ticket from her airline, which they only fly to Orlando but I need to get to Pensacola. Does anyone have cheap transportation ideas, or would a mom be willin to give me a ride from Orlando-Pensacola and then back. I will give gas money
