OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Just to let everyone know, I've started a Jacksonville Navy Moms FB page.  You can find us at https://www.facebook.com/groups/174336446066675/.  It's a small group as we're just getting started.  If you would like to join us on FB, please send a request.  It's a closed group so please include Navy for Moms in a message so I know how you found us.  See you there!

Where do you get names and addresses to send the boxes to?

Comment by Tiffany on May 30, 2013 at 1:19pm
Jennifer took some pictures. Only two of us showed. We filled three boxes.

Did anyone take pictures last night? How many boxes did you all get done?

I don't think I will be able to make Mandarin from Arlington during 5:00 traffic. Keep me in the loop, though, I would love to get together another time for a packing party! Frankly, I just haven't gotten prepared, either. I only picked up a few items over the weekend. I can bring them to the next event.
You guys have fun!

I can help. I work in Mandarin live in Macclenny. Please let me know what I need to bring. I have no idea what we really will be doing :)

I would be able to help you guys out next Wednesday evening also.
