My son wants to try to get on one of those boarding teams, too.  He just wants to do anything exciting, translation dangerous....he won't be happy until he's doing something he thinks is exciting!

April 2nd is this weekend already!

So your son is on one of the boarding teams?  How cool that you spotted him on tv!  :)

Good morning all--My calendar is clear on those dates and the Avenues area is good for me, too.  It will be so great to meet all of you!

Welcome to all the newcomers--I haven't posted to this site in quite awhile myself.  The weather has been so gorgeous I have been spending alot of time pulling weeds and planting vegetables.  Also been been busy with my high school aged son and his wrestling team.

My navy son is going to SD soon. He is excited...I will miss him, of course!

Marybeth...I will be going to Tampa/Largo also! there are quite a few moms from the Tampa area that say they are attending and some or maybe just one is driving up from Miami. I do know that Dana has been in touch with Holiday Inn suites and got a Military rate, if anyone is thinking of coming and does NOT want to make that drive in one day!..I plan on spending the weekend over there with Molly & Dana and doing some NAVY mom "partying" after the packing party! (wink wink) so we are planning some FUN outside packing boxes, So we would LOVE for everyone to join us! Are you up for some "partying"??? Jackie I do know life is a bit insane, I for one totally understand were you are at! ....

hope to see you all!

love to you Jackie! xooxox

Hi Jasmine--we are not too far from Mayport--about 20 minutes...I grew up near where you are from, as well--it's a beautiful area!  How long are you in Mayport for?

NAS is out on the Westside--I am not familiar with what restaurants are out there.  There's alot out there, though....he shouldn't have a problem finding something good!  Dave & Busters is fun, but not close by.
