Thought it might be nice for everybody to say where they are staying for PIR as a means of knowing who will be in the same place, taking the shuttles, carpooling, etc. and maybe even getting together…Continue

SDPam-Hi! Good to know! I'm so excited for the mail man to get here! I know it's pathetic! My husband and I have known each other for almost 8 years, we've been married for 2 and the longest we've ever been apart is like 10 days! And we skyped everyday and called! So his letters are the highlight of my week! (Were best friends, we were friends before we dated) SO yeah! LOL!!!

** If all else fails, you can always call a cab to take you..It's only like a 2 minute drive..maybe a 5 minute walk..but keep in mind if you walk..you will be outside waiting for a little while too. It's about a 5 minute walk from the gate to the hall to get in line(which is under a parking garage) if they use the same gate as we did anyways. However, there really isn't "food" anywhere around..a mcdonalds..about a 10 second run from Red Carpet Inn to Mickey D's, otherwise a gas station with food fresh donuts, cereal etc is RIGHT next to the Hotel.

Marchel - Red Carpet Inn is where I stayed...literally 2 minutes from RTC.

No letters yet, but received the form letter with a few short lines. Shopping for hotel/air. Can anyone suggest a nice hotel really close to RTC. We’re coming from Texas and I’m a bit worried about driving in the end of January to and from RTC to hotel. If it dusts us with snow down here everything closes! And no one dares drive :) As badly as I want 1/28 to get here we’ll be walkin’ if there’s too much snow! Shopping for snow boots too! Thanks in advance for your suggestions...

Looks like our little group is coming together. A few of us have been shuttling back and forth from 1/28 to 1/21 to 1/28 and praying that we don't have to change again. For the rest of you .... so thankful to have you aboard. This is a phenomenal group so far; we have laughed till we've cried, we've cried till we laughed and even given each other more things to cry about. It's wonderful! Can't wait till we get to see each other and laugh some more! Anybody else in ship 11/div. 057 (besides my dos amigas, Denise and Kathy!!!).
