Thought it would be great to learn where everybody's sailor is heading to after PIR.  This can be a great way to open new conversations at the M&G and also make new friends that will be going…Continue

scottysmom ... nope, nothing besides the form letter. We are all hoping that they got to write letters this past Sunday and maybe, just maybe, we might get mail from them the middle of this week. Stay tuned ... as I'm sure anybody getting a letter will announce it from the roof tops.

So at the Ramada, if some of the guests are younger than 21 - then does that mean they can't go into the bar for the M&G??? Typically that is how it works. Most of these recruits are younger than 21 and some are even married and have wives that are not "of age". Is there any concession for them? Just wondering.

Kathy, thank you for setting up the meet and greet. Are you flying in to IL? I live in upstate NY, and can't figure out if I should drive, fly or take amtrak. I'm afraid of a storm and missing graduation because of it.

Has any one received a letter yet besides the form letter?

BTW I was originally staying at candlewood suites, but Ramada has a suite a little cheaper for 83.00 a night w/ graduation, so changed my reservation. Plus this way I wont have to drive if it snows lol This Florida girl is in for a big temperature shock. I told the kids I am not turning on the heat (it dropped to high 30's last night and for us that is FREEZIN COLD), because I am "in training" for our visit to ILLINOIS lol
