Maggs.. sorry to hear about the  drama in your life right now. Yes  it definitively  seems like a  screen play.. A plot  for NCIS.. a very sad story at that. My heart  goes out to you all.

Navy Dad Mark.. welcome back..  what a great looking family.. you must be so proud... Maybe when  my  youngest goes into the military.. if he does decide to do that.. he might run into  your  son at Great Lakes.  My Navy son  was a seabee  and is now doing recruiting in NJ.. so we have our own recruiter in the family.. My youngest  is a sophmore in HS so who knows what he will want to do when he graduates.

navymom4E.... I just emailed my sailor ,about your son.Remember they were buds?.He is in Yokosuka.Maybe he can visit E.

TLynn...LOVE the pix!

Ang...I think its a 'cat thing' that they KNOW the allergic people and find it necessary to give their undivided attention....and dander!

Maggs...YEP your son should patch that hole, get a grip and give you a HUGE apology. Reading about the marine was sad...kinda felt like the opener of an episode of NCIS (LOVE that show) Mark Harmon..YUM Oh,I'd better stop I'm drooling on the keyboard, don't want it to short out!

My son's plane landed in Tokyo early this morning.  I expected a quick text or call to let me know he had arrived safely, but nothing.  When do you think I should expect to hear from him?  I know we can go weeks/months with no contact, but I just want to know he made it to the base.

I know - no news is good news.

Remembered I shared that sailor got to go to New Orleans? Well he found a shop that sold nothing but Mardi-Gras masks, so that was his gift to all of us.

top pic is Tessa and her purple mask

Gee - when you ask for gossip I got a boat load Thank you !

Going to list - have too - got to follow my notes I took:

NOW HEAT THIS - NOW HEAR THIS - MAGGS !!!!!

Do NOT cancel any celebrations you had planned for your birthday.  You are special and the  best magic happens on one's birthday.  Besides I bet Angle the Devil cat has a gift caught I mean all wrapped up for you :)

And I agree with all here - and their are 608 of us Pan Moms now - oldest is to fix that wall and apologize to you.  Let him know - we all know about his behavior.

I am sorry about your soap opera.  You and your daughter did nothing to cause this.  This was a problem that young man burdened your daughter with.  Hopefully your daughter's current boy friend will calm down and realize this . And come around in thinking.  But I am doing a candle spell to send calm thinking your way.   One mom here said she was lighting a candle - you light on too Maggs- promise the through Light and Love the solutions will come.

1. Anti M - doing better? And have your heard if the gift Gym Memberships are being used?  I thought that was a sweet gift.

2. Blondie - remember if the bras' don't work - there is always duct tape. And it comes in many colors :)

Connor doesn't need socks and shoes - he can't spread those sweet toes if they are covered.  Oh kiss those baby feet for me.   And as usually - you make the Energizer Bunny look like it is standing still.  Promise to post pics of the wedding.

Kim - glad you are better.  And wow DiL almost here!

Kathy - when is your surgery / surgeries ?  Where did I miss that?

Navymom4e - Big Cyber Hug to your first.  I have the same good vibes others are feeling here too for your son.  But will say positive thought and will send healing Reiki energy too :)  Let us know how his right knee is doing and how you are doing too.  hugs

Barb - taking about pics - update on Nolan please. And I lost my notes I took on you - darn. Now I have to go back and find your message.

Gee you sounded busy, but had a good time with son at home

Val - you are going to make your son eat at home?  Too funny.  But he will love it.

Katlanta - so you have future plans of tanning in Florida while visiting you sailor - as he will be stationed in Florida.  Nice vision magic !  So did you vision the " Yellow Poka Dot Bikini" that you will be wearing too?

Navyblumom - glad you have been able to skype with son. Yes, they sound and look different those first months.  But sounds like he is fitting in perfectly.

JL I would cry too when viewing that dotted line on the computer screen - I think it is in our Navy Mom By Laws for us to be able to do.  Just like knocking anyone out of way to get to ringing phone.

My oldest said the same thing to his brothers too.  Who said you could grow?   Isn't if funny how the baby sib will be the bigger one?

And I think your son should be able to call his base and let them know what happened.  Is there a way he can get a report showing his plane was delayed to prove it was not his fault?

Angs!  Your niece got a ring too ?  Oh congrats and rats. Me too - I am so happy our kids found that right person, but honest it would have been fun ( for us ) if it were our two kids together.  But really congratulations to her.

I just do not get it why cats come to you!  You being so allergic.  Hope you feel better soon.  Try the tequila and tea.

Now you are going to sleep on a rock with a clock symbol - ?   Just h old it and vision your dream. That is your magic. The rock holds your wish and only you can work this one.

Well Hello and Merry Christmas Navy Dad Mark.

Nice to see you again.

And thank you very much Sailorwifemom.  Hearing your story - even though it was the short version made us all prouder.  You fit perfectly :)

Ok - now I wonder what will post when I finally send this.  when I posted earlier - there were no pics or many messages.  Going to post some pics and then sit back and read what comes next.  Come on new moms - as you can see we all " Jump into the Water" but we always throw out a Life Ring when needed.  hugs all.

PS I did not proof read - just decode.

navymom4e - sending prayers....

Comment by navymom4e (ship12 div038) on December 28, 2011 at 6:10pm

To all my Navy moms.... I know I never usually post things but today I need your prayers and support!  My son is having surgery in about an hour on his knee in Yokusoka and it is killing me that I am not there!  We had already bought his ticket to come home for Christmas when the surgery was booked and he really wanted to come home... so I couldn't afford to do both :(

I did get 2 1/2 weeks with him but now I wish I was there to hold his hand and be there when he wakes up.  He has wonderful friends that are going to the hospital later to sit with him and take care of him.  Funny- one is Heath- my son was there for him on his last surgery.

Please pray that the surgery goes well and there are no complications....

You are all the only ones that understand what it is like not to be there for your child.....

Here he is last week with his sister and 94 yr old great-grandfather.
