Merry Christmas ! Did you hear the glasses "klink" for our toast ? I did :)
Ang - you are right - they look like twins.
JL - I so hope he gets his deer. Fingers crossed
Val - so finally we meet :) at a funeral. What were you eating to get that in a dream? I laughed my head off. I was smart and went to the bathroom first then got on here.
I know skype isn't the same but getting to open the gifts even over the phone - priceless :)
ALERT !!!! ALERT!!!!
I GOT GOSSIP SO ALL SIT DOWN!!!!
Yes - this is an awesome Christmas for me. My son is home and honest I was so prepared to have the 5th one without him. ( Thanks for all the wishes for me that he would be home - you all tipped the scales in my favor - hugs )
Well, my sailor when and did another surprise.
He asked a young lady - he had dated in the past to marry him and she said YES!
OMG !
Did I know this would happen? Yes
He called right after Thanksgiving to tell me he and this young lady had been talking again and they had come to learn they still had feelings for each other.
So he then purchased a ring in Mississippi - BUT not to TELL. I have been busting at the gut here for 3 weeks !
See why I asked you to sit down?
Do I know any other details of when - where - ? No
But honest as soon as I do - I will be flapping my lips.
How do I feel about it ? Honest - I love my son and I have to trust his judgement. She is a lovely person. And they both have done some major growing up I can say - they always did talk everything out and did not lie to each other about their feelings. So I am believing in them.
Will have pictures later. Hugs all
From our home to yours...Merry Christmas!
May the Blessings of Christmas be with you today and always.
Yay, nuke nephew came by, had a beer and chatted, just us two. His GF kept texting him, but he told her to chill, he was visiting his aunt! Such a good guy, and I will see him for Christmas dinner too.
T-Lynn.....YAY !!!! That is so awesome ! What a Merry Christmas you will have :)
My son did not get a deer yet, still working on it. I hope he gets one tomorrow, he leaves Monday and Sunday he has promised to us, to tomorrow is his last day....fingers crossed !!! Regardless, he has enjoyed his time home and doing what he loves !!
Maggs- He signed up for the Navy when we lived in Hawaii. Then we all moved to California for 6 months (stayed at the MIL's) knowing we would be going to Florida in Feb. He left for BC in January. And he was ready to go having to live with Grandma for 6 months. So he knew we were moving while he was at BC. He got to see where we now lived on July 4th weekend. But we have always teased them all when they were all gone we were going to move and not tell them where! LOL
HI :)
Still on cloud 9 - busy collecting hugs
And I gave him a hug and kiss from all of you.
He still cannot believe all the stuff we talk about. Blondie and Maggs he loved the joke and letter of Lousie.
Oh he said , he didn't get an email for God either.
Looking forward to the toast. And wish all a good evening. hugs :)
