Thanks Lisa!  You had me shaking my head there!

Ang, all my gay friends are open about it, why act like it is a shameful secret?  It shouldn't be.  They are who they are.  And why isn't your niece pretty even with short hair?  LOL, I guess we all have different gripes.

Thanks Katlanta. He is waiting to here back from his chief. If he truly needs one I will have him use the 800 number.

Anti M...... NO, He is in a hunting club, deep in the woods...the "roads" are "cut roads" through the woods to head off dogs (hunting dogs)......Totally legal and everyone out there is there for the same reason and they are ALL hunting together....Sorry to alarm you, I guess I should be more detailed in my stories

Comment by navymom3 on December 22, 2011 at 9:37pm

I will have him try the gateway.

Comment by Anti M on December 22, 2011 at 9:34pm

Yeah, they have a temp barracks for the single sailors of the regular barracks is full. If nothing else, they'd stay at Gateway, not the Lodge.  LOL, unless he acquired a bride....

Comment by navymom3 on December 22, 2011 at 9:29pm

Thanks Anti M and navyblumom- He is going to email the chief right now and see whats up. He is shore duty so they should have a room in the barracks for him I would think.

@Lisa... wow, he shoots across roads at deer?  Horribly illegal in most states.  Sorry, I'm on the side of the douchebags on this one.

@Navymom, single sailors don't stay in the Lodge when they PCS.  There's something all kinds of wrong with that chief, unless he thinks your sailor is married.

I have a question for those that just had a sailor leave for Japan. Did your sailor have to book a room at the navy lodge in Yokosuka for there first night there? My son's chief emailed him and told him to make sure he has booked a room. We tried to do it online and it said they are full. I am going to have him call them. Hope it don't cost to must calling Japan.

Ohhh, T-Lynn...I love the toast !!! I will be here @ 5 pm to share in the toast

Sailor hunting story....Today my Son watched an 8pt Buck run across the road (in woods of course) but could not shoot because a "doucheBag" was parked in the middle of the road and between him and the deer...LOL

Then about 2 hours later he watched a Doe cross the road, can't kill them where he hunts, but he saw a tail "flagging"right behind her...LONG distance, so he picked up his rifle, looked through the scope and it was a Buck....he shot but was too far away :( just missed !

He is sooooo happy to be out there in the woods it didn't bother him like it used to and he said " I still have 3 days" so all is good

Gotta run for now, but will check in later :)

Well, my family knew I was on the Japan site - laughing my head off!  Between poor Louise - the hunters and NOT getting an email from God - oh too much fun here.

Guess what stories I am sharing at Christmas Breakfast?

Toast - you have not missed it . WE just forgot . We got lost in sailors coming home and sailors being the surprise. And those lack of hormones stories.

Toasting time - how about Christmas Day 5 PM Eastern ?

My Toast:

To the USS Pan Moms

The best ship of the 7th Fleet

Her sails never rest, for she always is on her quest

Making sure each of her crew

Is safe and has a place to rest

So here is to my fellow Pan Navy Moms

Merry Christmas and my God/Goddess Bless

hugs :)
