Just dropping in. Sent the hubmeister to do some grocery shopping..I KNOW probably a mistake but I needed some QUIET!! I have been SOOO emotional...ugh! I keep telling people that ALL I want for Chistmas is a special delivery from Japan.

TLynn....great pix. LOVE Shark with Santa.

Robin....No snow, huh? Here in AZ a couple of weeks ago it was colder than NH. My daughter talked about applying too Keene State (my alma mater) but i told her that the first time she stepped outside and her boogers froze she wouldn't think it was so grand!

I am so exited for all of you with sailors home or coming home.

I love the pictures T-Lynn.

Youngest arrived home yesterday with his cat.  My husband is allergic and the cat starts to bother him after a few days.  I bought cat shampoo.  Tomorrow son is clipping his nails, buying rubber gloves and attempting to bathe the cat.  I will let you know.

Sailor was severely allergic to cat last New Years visit.  He was weezing.  We got him inhalers and that helped.  He was still allergic in the house at Thanksgiving and the cat hadn't been here for months.  I had shampooed the carpets.  But he is also having allergy problems on the ship.  He has been bugging them to test him and start him on shots.  All allergy medicine knocks him out.

Maggs, I loved your story.  All I can say is KIDS!

My youngest turned 21 Friday.  We took him out to dinner and drinks.  He had one beer and went to bed early.  Middle son went up to school to celebrate with him and he said that every time someone bought him a drink his brother was right behind them with a water.

Last news.  I broke my toe yesterday.  What a pain.

OMG....Ladies, today was my final day for shopping for the family, I had already sent out my sons box so that was covered.....all day I cried I couldn't help myself...the stupid Christmas songs on the intercom @ the stores got to me...

This is our first year without our Son...

I had a Rum cake baking date with a friend and my daughter called and asked if she could come spend the evening with us and help, so of course YES...I was working in the kitchen when she came in, I turned around to put a plate down and ran straight into MY SON.......

All I could do is hug him and cry !!!!!

He was afraid we would be mad that he spent the $$$ to come home....but this is the MOST precious gift I could have EVER gotten !!!!

I hope you ALL have a merry Christmas !!!

I know it  will not always be like this, but for my first year it is pretty amazing......

HI

Ok new Moms - more jumping into the water.

Val - you didn't mention if your sailor hit his target while hunting.  But so good to hear he is having a good time.

Agree with Anti M  - Christmas or any holiday is when sailor is home :)  Your messages sounds like you are stronger  -- that means healing : ) But I am so happy your Larry is home with you.  By the way did he go play with the neighbor and cut some wood?

Oh Maggs - I am at first laughing - then crying - then just belly laughing.  This had to be no fun, but just read your message again.  You sound like an episode of I Love Lucy. Oh excuse me - make that I Love Maggs.

No worries - I jumped on my broom and bringing the Cognac and gossip :)

Well, Ang - I ask to hear from you and you are now immitating  lizards at night. What a visual you are!

I am sorry about that swollen tongue. Not fun and one gets fry mouth very fast.  I can use olive oil on the eyes, but now finally my eyes are behaving - I am just leaving them alone!

Today - only a few errands done.

The visitation was not - it was the memorial. So we stayed for our friend Chris.  Chris was in the pictures with sailor in New Orleans.  He was so happy to find us.

We shopped a pit and Shark did see a new Santa.  She loved this Santa and did NOT want to leave Santa at all.

When the young girl came with the camera - - Shark poised for the  photos. But the one we accepted was Shark looking at Santa.

My sailor should be at his new base by now.  I will know for sure when he calls. Promise I'll share as soon as I get done talking with him. Oh to the new Mom s - my son was three years in Japan on the USS Patriot.  He re-enlisted for 5 years and now has moved on to a job of a Riverine.  Stationed here in the USA.  But this site is home.  The best ladies here and it safe to share :)

Hey we need more pics posted.  I'll start

Wish all sweet dreams  hugs
