Cindy that is wonderful. Congrats to you and your sailor. That is something to be proud of.
jeffiner, we've had some real frigid air, wow, huh? I'm jealous of your hot flashes. I'm feeling ok, but my hernia pinches and stabs, so I am not as mobile as I would like. I did get the kitchen table cleared and then "dressed" for the holidays. My little fake tree will have to do, I don't feel up to digging out the massive ornament collection. I could do at least three different full sized theme trees, I have that many ornaments.
What adorable kids! Yay for fingerpainting!
I appreciate the USO, so I give my nephew a "gift" of a monthly donation to them. It isn't much, but it adds up. They make it simple to donate.
Thanks Val, the video was awesome...I know you can't wait for your sailor to get home.
Blondie, AGAIN..thanks for the updates on Nick ! And if my son were home, he would make that pic a reality!! He truely misses hunting season and for the first time in years....so do I :(
Mar, what a beautiful baby !!!! and what a head of hair, so glad to finally hear everyone is ok.
I got a quick chat with my son this AM and he is good, but really tired. They have been busy and he hopes some r&r is coming soon. Hopefully another chat tomorrow before they leave port again.
I am adding a pic of my grandson and granddaughter....they were fingerpainting a christmas card for my son (their Uncle)
Thanks musicmom- I am glad they will take care of him.
Thanks tlynn- I wouldn't hink they would make them stay in the airport uso. I am going to see if my mom wants to meet up with him and see him before he leave since I have a date now. She live in the tri cities.
When my son had to stay over - he went to a hotel. He had to pay, but was told to keep his receipts. I think it might be different in yous son's situation. I wish I had a better answer.
My son got his plane ticket to to Japan. He has to leave several days earlier than I thought he would.
I have a question then. When he lands in Seattle his next flight isn't until the next morning. I know he checks into the uso but does he get a hotel room or does he have to stay in the airport all night?
