Oooh, I've been busy, so just popping in for a sec.
Robin, hugs for you and your sweet kitty. Much love.
BadMa, you are in the right place to vent! Glad things are better.
Long johns... any color as long as they don't show. White, black or dark blue are the best choices.
Love to you all, must fly.... Larry is off helping the father of a friend, they lost all six huge pines in front of their house, one hit the side roof. Wow, that's a lot of boughs for Christmas wreaths!
As for long johns My son said he got black but it can't be seen. I would think if they had a black or navy blue they would be good.
TLynn... you always know what to say. LOVWE the picture!!
So,I called my daughter we went for lunch and had a MUCH needed chat. ALL is fine. The pregnancy thing was some kid being a jerk.My daughter is a teacher at a preschool andIS taking classes through the school to work toward child psychology.
my friend's boy is doing well...giving mom attitude.Yeah he feels better.
My sailor messaged me on fb.He received a package from me yesterday and during muster ,his 2nd class hugged him and said "that's from your mom?"
Forgot !
To Robin and Navymom3 - thank you :) So really love hearing from you. Now I am hungry for chocolate.
And if you can post a pic of your sailors being home.
Miss - what do I have to do - stand on my head to get you post that pic of your bathroom?
BADma - that wasn't a rant or even bad a$$.
It was your VOICE saying - I am FREE !
You have guided and love to your best.
Now by speaking out - you just hugged your self.
Add my Big Cyber Hug to it please.
Honest - we all here have screamed out our hurts - I thought that was on reason for this site.
OK - I know - it was for us to get information and help our sailors. BUT - it turned out to be more :)
BADma - healing Reiki Energy is being sent to you know

Hi moms..i've been reading but not posting.I am so overwhelmed..its a mixture of depression and grief. I SERIOUSLY believe that I could be diagnosed with depression:
My daughter has decided that college is not for her.She has SUCH potential but I cannot understand why she is throwing it all away. She avoids me...I believe she knows that I'm disappointed. Her bf is 19 doesn't work, lives at home and when they visit here ALL he talks about is his 'mama". UGH...creepy! I just saw on fb where one of his friends asked if my daughter is pregnant! I texted her she supposedly lives at her bff's place but no response yet.
My dearest friend's 19 yr old son was diagnosed w/testicular cancer and has about 5 other masses throughout his body. He has had 2 surgeries 6 in tumor on testicle) and 3 masses on vertebra removed (that docs could get at).He is fighting.
Last Sunday hubmeister was buzzing BIG ( I won't talk to him when he is that way). He called me a "fucking idiot stupid bitch" b/c I wouldn't respond. On Monday he couldn't remember that but tied to say he was just joking.I haven't spoken to him much this past week.I feel SO lost.
So...other than THAT First Lady Kennedy, how did ya like the parade??
Sorry for my long a$$ rant ))):
T-Lynn my son did win the giant candy bar. He brought it with him for Thanksgiving and had not even opened it yet. He wanted to open it at home and make cookies for his friends with it. So we made some good cookies with it. And I have made several more batches as older sailor had a bake sale the other day. We still have tons left. I won't have to buy chocolate chips for a while. LOL
For the cat pic " I can't believe she bought the elf suit, I wanted the Santa one"
Only 7 more days and my son will be home on leave before heading to Japan.
Forgot - hurray - high school buddy on the same ship
Keep us posted on what they get into too.
