Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

He wanted to open it at home and make cookies for his friends with it. So we made some good cookies with it. And I have made several more batches as older sailor had a bake sale the other day. We still have tons left. I won't have to buy chocolate chips for a while. LOL

For the cat pic " I can't believe she bought the elf suit, I wanted the Santa one"

Only 7 more days and my son will be home on leave before heading to Japan.

T-Lynn I didn't over do it. Just a flare up. My back has felt better all on all more. However my sternum has been irritating. I probably have a rib out or supplexion ot torn cartalage from the first time being bucked off. I want to work out but still waiting to beal. Walking is the best thing to do.
You can tell hubby he has a short vacation but I know you will make up for lost time.lol. Pro biotics I bet that's what Blondie will say too!

I got e-mails from son, YAY he is underway but his package caught up with him and ALL was still good, he and a highschool friend are on the same ship (coincedence) and they devoured the Jerky, my husband and I were surprised to hear he actually shared, lol

So we will be packing another box this weekend......What to send?

I was thinking cards, he LOVES to play poker, but the MAN here says, don't you think they have cards? WTH, they have access to everything so does that mean I can't send anything?
