Happy Friday Japan's Moms. My Adam will be heading to Yoko on The Curtis Wilbur at Dec's end. He is 18 and going to be damage controlman. I wanted to say... I could never had made it this far without people like you willing to share.

Blondie, thanks for address.  I don't mind the posts either,  and appreciate the chance to pray for these brave heroes and their families.

Do hope all is going well for her daughter.

@davesmom ... an ombudsman is a volunteer spouse who is the official liaison between the ship and the families.  Yes, your sailor adds you to the newsletter list via the ombudsman.  Most of the time, if you google the ship or command, you can find a way to contact the ombudsman.  They can then get in touch with your sailor for approval to be added.  Some will add a mom automatically, some will ask the sailor.

My power was out all day!  If you see video on the news of the damage in Utah, that was just to the south of me.  We didn't get the heavy damage up here, but it was bad enough.  I was trying to start our generator when the power came back on, Whew.

Anti M - my girlfriend's daughter is a Lieutenant, Physical Therapist at the Walter Reed National.  She just explained to me the other day that the original hospital is closed and they have recently integrated with the Bethesda Naval Hosp. which was newly named the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, now the largest military hosp. in the world.

Maybe Lisa will be his therapist when the time comes.  I will pass this information on to my girlfriend.

Take care all!

HI

NO words yet from Mar. So give a guess when that sweet baby arrives.

Anti M - I hope your Dr. Bill does visit Nick - how warming to the heart.

Val - 12 days !!!!!! count down to hug!

thanks for updates Blonde will send a message to be added to the wreath.  Very touching idea.

Maggs - what's Angel up too?  I found Shark this morning resting - with limbs spread eagle out and head resting on her hot rock. But she had moved her stuff blue turtle to be by the hot rock too and facing her.  Cuddling mood I guess.  Plan on taking the turtle with her to see Santa.

Does Angle see Santa?

Do any of you take your pets to see Santa?  Just wondering.

Hi Tee and welcome here.

Don't worry davesmom - things will work out and someone here can answer your question

hugs all
