To understand - I LOVE Pink Flamingoes!

So to celebrate my birthday - several years back - and my first crown - I had a pink flamingo placed on it. I was told the guy who does the Crown art work - was so excited - its his first flamingo

It still looks great and is a bright pink!

HI

Welcome about New Moms!

The name of Pan Moms.  When it first started, we had a mom who's sailor's young nephew could not say Japan.  But Pan came out loud and clear.  WE all fell in love with this Pan and started calling ourselves the Pan Navy Moms.  It just stuck.  Abd by the way - once a Pan mom - ALWAYS a Pan Mom. Even if you sailor is no longer stationed any where in Japan or even OUT of the Navy.  You stuck now.

The simply truth - we all really got to know each other over these key boards seas. We were able to share joys - saddness - frustrations - YOU name it  - we all shared it.  And even some of us got lucky to actually meet up. And those who did - first things - share hugs fro mall us. and then got back to the site to share pictures and stories. We even have Baby pools !  You know - name - date - weight - boy or girl - etc.  It was bragging rights - but we were together. And we all have promised that one day we will ALL get together. Plus, we will be wearing t-shirts that say "Pan Navy Moms"

And for me - navy changed its mind.  Now sailor will not be headed back to japan for a 3rd time - somewhere in teh states. I give up, but still a Pan Mom

Hey - Blondie and Kim and I know another went to Japan - need to share details go help a fellow mom here.

I like the ideas of having a "Flat Sailor" for pictures - but I do remember that monkey Blondie!  What fun that was.

Oh did any of you see - blondie actually is taking Saturday and Monday OFF !  too the new moms - blondie makes the Energizer Bunny look like its standing still.

So new moms ask away - promise someone will have answers.

Here the weather is trying to be Autumn and I love it!! We even have maple trees turning colors !!!! We grew pumpkins again , but this time the pumpkins are black. Not kidding - black pumpkins. They even have a deep green shine to them. Yes, will try again to get pictures on here. I know it has to be me goofing something.

Grand kids are fine - honest - I am glad they are back to day care and school.

Need to split - hugs all

Quick question - is a Pan Mom, a Japan Mom?  Relatively new here, my son doesn't land there until after his A school in Nov. but he's destined for Japan afterwards.

Thanks in advance!

Hi khryse - Saw your post about your sailor not being home for his sister's wedding.  My daughter has been missing our sailor, so we had a 'Flat Henry' made, essentially a photo of his head/face on a stick.  Made sure that the photo was lifesized.  That helped her.  Then her dad got sick and couldn't go to a fan fest and get the photos he'd paid for, so we made "Flat Daddy" for her, for them.  All of the actors there were thrilled to have their photos taken with him.  I got the idea from others doing the same thing for weddings, holiday dinners, etc.
