Thanks for the picture Carol.
AntiM, have you tried putting vinegar in bowls in the basement? You are starting to sound as clumsy as me.
I am working at home tomorrow, so that will be my 'me' break for the week.
Welcome Sharon, make sure you post us news.

I only get the sewer smell for ten minutes a week, but it is enough to keep me upstairs for that short time!

Maybe if you said ESWS like a word... Eeeesss-wassss.

That is so so - Freaky ! Yes, I do know what you are talking about - snow in the back yard and nothing in the front. One time - driving home, was stopped at a red light. Where I was stopped - no rain at all, but when I crossed over - I was in a down pour. Ok - need more freaky weather storeis !

I 've used that sponge too. It works nicely on tennis shoes . But my turtle doesn't help me with chores.. Nice you have the cats trained to help out around the house :)

Right now - sitting and looking out my OPENED window. That truck left and I have all windows opened. Near upper 70's now - gentle fresh breeze and the birds are singing. I hope for all to have this calm Spring moment soon too.

Isn't there anything be doen to stop the smell from coming in your basement?

Sorry - I have not a clue why I cannot get that right. It frustrates me and honestly - I thought you might all think I am not paying attention when you share information. But for some reason I am stuck with added that extra E. I know my son will pass the oral part. He just gets so frustrated with himself when he misses the easy questions.

Reiki on its way :) ANd so very glad you took a somewhat Me Day. Maybe tomorrow - you might post the recipe for those banana - cinnamon cookies ?

Need to get - take all hugs TLynn

LOL, T-Lynn, it is ESWS. Acronyms are so much fun, huh? I hope he gets it, it will count as points towards advancement.

Reiki my right knee if you're up to it.

We have sewer guys every Thursday morning. The pipes are narrow in this neighborhood, so they push low pressure air through them to keep them clear. Teh smell comes up my basement drains and is just terrible.

I'm taking a kinda me day. I sat on the kitchen floor and wiped down the cupboard faces with a Magic Eraser. Freaking miracle sponge, that is! Sitting on the floor is relaxing, and the cats come to help. And I made banana-cinnamon cookies for hubby. I've been reading, and working on an art project. I just looked out the back windows and saw more snow coming down, but looking out the front windows, nothing. Freaky!!!

Good Morning :)
Captions - contest - fun !!!!!!

How about that song segment from a the TV advertisement: "... Boom de ahda ,,," Hope I got that right - only a cup and half of coffee this morning.

Ouch Anti M. Ditto - glad you were not alone. Reiki my friend ?

Guess what is parked in front of my house ? - Again ! You all guessed right - the sewer cleaners. It is in the upper 60's now - going to be in the 80's. And I cannot have my windows open! And too - Shark is starting her walk abouts. So have to make sure doors are closed! Plus - she is not happy that the windows are closed - she cannot have fresh air as she soaks up the sun light from the front window. I have a turtle with Atitude.

Heard from my sailor - at a working port again. Also he plays tour guide on the ship for visitors. He just worries when the elementary kids are on baord. He said - there is always one kid that acts up and he always gets that kid in his group. I reminded him of his youthful days. ( Karma payback ?) Also he will know if he past his promotion test in June and now study for that oral exam part of the EWES test ( did I get right ?) Let you know when I hear from him.

Need to get - running around today. talk soon all. And take Me Day Anti M!
hugs TLynn

Caption?

"I can never find a good parking spot in downtown San Diego, sir."

I'm achy and sore this morning, I took a tumble on my basement stairs last night. Stair actually, I was at the bottom. Smacked my face against the doorknob at the bottom and landed on my hands and knees. Have a pretty good bruise on my one knee and my one arm was jolted enough all the joints hurt this morning. I'm forcing myself to type to get my hands to loosen up. Yikes, even my neck hurts. My friend Genius was here and fetched the frozen lima beans to ice my face and knees; I'm okay bit wow that was scary!

All that warm wind had a snowstorm behind it. We have several inches on the grass, the pavement is wet. Still having flurries. Blech.
