HI

I fell off the edge of the world again. I somehow turned my cell to silent and didn't even know I had done it. Now I am playing catch up with family and friends. Then computer yelled it had no virus protection and the tv died during the new year eve's shows. So with all that was going on in my world - I forgot this world - and missed the toast and now hearing about Maggs' hurts.

Safe trip Maggs and gentle hugs.

Glad to see some of us check in.

And have fun Blondie with the baby shower. share some pics please.

I do wish for a Happy New Year to all. It will happen :). It just feel like some of us are stubbing our big toes as we start this year. some more so than the rest of us. But we can come here - someone is always there with a hand up and shoulder to lean on.

Sweet dreams all - hugs

Maggs - I'm so very sorry. Prayers for the repose of her soul and for comfort for you and all who loved her.

Happy New Year.

busy weekend as usual.  Had a house full.  I picked up Connor Friday after work, Joe got in late, so we stayed up till 1am, doctor appointments on Saturday, gave Joe my massage, loaded his car with deer meat and baby things he left @1:30, Hubby and I went to Church and out to dinner....Connor/JD. Rhyen and Jeremy went to a kids celebration....yesterday was the same catch up[, shopping, dishes, laundry...hugging on my grandbabies.  Coonor left @6pm and Rhyen left at 11pm.  We both had to work this morning.

Weird drive to work, I'm the only one working in our village...it was raining and foggy and no one else on the road, no houses with lights....I was to do weeklies, month-ends and year-ends.  well nothing has gone right so far.  Finally got weeklies and month-ends done but why won't year ends come out, if every month-ends came out?  some is bounced checks and refunds but people REALLY need to stop voiding things!  I have a pain in my neck and headache, I need to eat something, maybe a nap and then think about coming back...nah, the rest can wait till tomorrow!

Best thing was with Joe on the road so much of the time, I got to talk/text X-Sailor alot

!!!  in 2 weeks we will be back out there to get a HUG.  Going for Navy Baby Shower, taking recliner and more baby things....Eldest daughter nad hubby are going too!!!!  waiting to hear from 2 aunts and a cousin...2 of Sailor's friends from here are going....gonna be a Great Time!

just needed to get away from books for a while but now I NEED to eat.  So guess I'm going home, screw the book work. LOL

I love a toast just after midnight, doing it in each time zone would make a wave of love across the country!

Comment by maggs on December 28, 2016 at 12:02pm

How about New Year Toast?  After saying Happy New year to one and all. WE should recharge our classes, and toast our sailors., No matter where we are, or what time zone?

Comment by Blondie on December 28, 2016 at 9:35am

Glad sailor made it back and as always everyone is helpful with answers.

T-Lynn hope everyone is healthy now.  a lot of "stuff" going around here.  Thankfully hubby and I keep taking our vitamins and moving forward. No worries, I toast our Military and families with each first sip.

Toast time works for me, what's the toast?

Busy time at work since everyone's sick, re arranging schedules.....people falling on ice or hurting themselves cutting/moving wood, everyone wants in one more time before the end of year and insurance starts over (deductible) in Jan.  or changes completely.  One of our biggest insurance companies in Ohio decided to drop individuals policies!  What a mess.  Plus I have to do inventory and not only month ends but year ends.

I took last Saturday (Christmas Eve) off and Monday and plan to do the same this week. Then remembered I need to work Monday to close out last year.  So told everyone we will be closed Monday! So much easier on me when no one is here to bother me.  Boss lady was so excited we've never closed in the 25 years.  I told her YOU"RE the Boss, close whenever you want! I'm  also leaving Friday early to get my oil changed since I had to cancel last week do to gallbladder attack.  UGG

Joe will be home late Thursday or Friday.  fast turn around tho, just picking up his deer meat and baby things and heading back Saturday after getting adjusted.  So Only have the one day which he'll want to sleep after working all day and driving straight thru.....but at least I get a HUG and can send one back for daughter and baby!  So wanted Friday off to spend and cook for him!  Hoping he can get back before new year's eve drunks get on the road.  Then we're planning on going down for MLK weekend!!!!!  Pray the weather stays good through WV.

well got to run, patients filling up the reception room.

@T-Lynn I love the t-shirt idea!  I'm up for a New Year's toast.  What about 10:01 AM on New Year's Eve?  Wouldn't that be 12:01 Am New Year's Day for our sailors?  Thank you all for the love.... :)

Comment by T-Lynn on December 27, 2016 at 3:49pm

For Circusgrandma.

Hey - ladies. i still think we need to have t-shirt made with this on it!
