I got an e-mail saying Some that were put on the ACTIVE list had been deleted by accident.
I'm here, Drew.
What you are talking about is an extension. That can be asked for at any duty station. If the sailor wants to complete their sea or shore duty rotation at the same command, they may request another year. If the command needs them, and if their rotation and enlistment allows, it may be granted. It is not just for Japan and it is not guaranteed. It does save the Navy money if they don't move them around.
My husband extended several of his tours, one of them in Japan. I extended there too, but before I married him.
@ circusgrandma and jenjen1968 - I'm an Atsugi mom also! Son has been there for 1-½ years.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
The agency in charge of deleting members has been asked to stop for now, and they have as far as we can tell. We don't know why active members have been deleted, and there have been several. We have already complained. :)
Please check your "My Page" and see if there is activity showing. Even post a comment to yourself on your "My Page" that you are still active. Don't know if that will help, but if your "My Page" looks inactive that might be the issue.
Hey - i just sent a friend request. You guys are totally gone!
And Blondie - I could only send you a friend request - no personal message was permitted. Funny about Blondie Jr and not remembering. AT least she is doing great in class!!!
Hugs
HI
I have another mom on another site deleted too.
Anyone know what's up?
Isn't there a complaint area we can send to?
Well, glad Bondie and Maggs are back on. It appears like you a a total new sight - just like on for the first time. Guess I better Friend You. Hugs
Going to find the complaint department.
Oh - welcome MamaB. My sailor was in Sasebo several years ago, but it appears he is going back this Spring. Your sailor will love the place :).
