Ok - Ginger and Debi we need photos here!
I know I need to show some too, Still learning!
Oh - now the new gutters and downspouts are up! just need a rain to see it all works well. Have to share about the attice being reinsulated. They blew this stuff in - looks like cotton pieces. They used this big hose and as our neighbor drove in her driveway - hose blow a hole in its side. You guessed it - right into my neighbor's car as she drove in. No I did not have a camera or a camrecorder!
But that was a sight! And my mom got great reviews from her physical therapist! Mom's left hand is back to its strength in gripping and her balance is returning. Thank you all for the good thoughts for her. TLynn

Welcome :). But will have to wait to do that again - still trying to uncross some parts. Come to think of it - you are right Anit M - I've never seen Ozzy with a different style. By the way - anyone know how Ozzy did stop mumbling? In his commercail for that cell phone - I can understand him or is that computer magic? And thanks for the informaiotn about the summer fest. Will take the time to look at the site you shared. Ok Mark you got me. But you do have that professional professor look about you. ANd Linda - yours is the best I have ever heard. Got to try that with my husband Thanks for the idea. Who do I look like ? - depends on well the coffee is made each morning. May the rest of the day be filled with surprizes that tickle your funny bone and grant you a wish come true around every corner. I get that when I come here. T-Lynn

On topic: Summer in Japan is Bon O-dori season, a celebration for the ancestors who have moved on. Tell your sailors to get out there and participate in the Bon Odori dances and street festivals, and be certain to catch the big fireworks shows.

There are many, many local Bon Odori festivals in the states, even our town here in Utah has one. Do think about attending, it is great fun and a way to experience the culture of Japan. No one really cares if you are Buddhist or not.

LOL, actually, my hair was blond once upon a time. The current strawberry is a faded pink and purple-burgundy combination. I suppose if I let it go I'd be a dark blond and silver.

But it seemed as though anytime I changed my hair, from the big perm in the 80s to the straight multi-colored 'do of now, Ozzy has had the same hair. Weird and co-incidental. I'll try to find pics, I don't really look like Ozzy. I'm cuter and don't mumble quite as much.

The one on the right. The good looking one in the stripe shirt. :)
The guy in the middle looks like my college history professor - oh Mark that"s you. Mark - trying to get my husband to join your Navy Dads site. I even promised I would not spy on that site and see what he shares. Ok - now you must have the same look on your face as my husband gave me when I said that.
Wonderful day to all T-Lynn

I have returned form the lost region known only - as the last place you have to store something and never think about it again. In other words: " the Attic".
The safari lasted for 5 hours. No - I did not have that much stuff up there. But we did find: 5 suitcases, of which two had to be from the 50's - the soccer net I thought was lost in the flood, ALL the camping gear, one of those fry the turkey in thing - a 1960 green Kidilac peddal car - the hornets nest, minus the hornets - but sorry - no Jimmy Hoffa. It took so long becasue all items had to be removed and we are not placing anything back up there. ( knock on wood everyone!) On Modnay our attic is having more insulations blown in - so all items had to go. And Mark - what do you mean yuk on Magnum PI ? That is major eye candy! Ladies, looking like Bette Midler- whos voice can melt a guys heart and Sally Fields is the one who took Burt Reynolds heart. Beautiful ladies! But I am still have trouble trying to vision what Anti M compared herself too: the sister of Ozzy Osborne. Anti M you have strawberry blonde hair and I just can't make a vision of this. Even after 4 cups of coffee. Guess I better try some Irish coffee. Anyway - I've bent all of your ears. I am turning on the TV and zoning out. Have a wonderful evenning all T-Lynn PS The reason there was a hornets nest the size of three basket balls - my father was na Earth Science teacher and had all kinds' of stuff in his classroom - when he retired it all came home!
