If you are able to exchange ingredients, please post it too! I have relatives who are diabetic and that would be a wonderful treat for them. I planned to place the recipe on the website tomorrow, but it would be great if your substitution receipe could be with it! Will wait for you to post the new version of the receipe here - please. Thank you. I beleive it was Debi who shared that her nieghbor had tried this cake and loved it. Debi was also, kind in shairng the size of the mug needed. Terry PS Carol - the duplicate email annoucments have stopped. How is it for you?

Sharon, I know what you mean. I have been bugging my son to get his passport for two years. His last email promised me he will get it done next time he is in port. He isn't in the mode where I can't tell him what to do like my other adult son but he has always marched to his own tune. We are from Canada and his relatives all live there. It is even more important for him.
Terry, thanks for the recipe. I am not tempted by sweets but I love to bake. Let me know how it turns out. There is alot of sugar and oil in it. I think I can change it with splenda and grapefruit juice (or other oil substitute) to make it fit into weight watchers. I love doing this stuff. The Phillies are doing great but we lost our heart and soul of the team this week.

Thank you ladies!
I have three different sizes of mugs and when I try this cake - I want to make sure I didn't end up with a choclate cake microwave. Now when I share this receipe on the webesite I will add the size of the mug I will state that this size was tested and approved. And glad to know I am not alone. Guess the site wants to make sure I KNOW I have messages. Oh - it's TAX Day and worse - the Cubs lost. At least it is sunny. Terry

Another question - please. Have any of you experienced duplicate email annoucements? Example: received that a message was from Sharon, on Japan site - it came twice on my address. Is this happening to any of you?

Great to hear about the cake. Question? When it states "large mug" - just how large?

Question?
Is there another site that I could share the recipe? I thought about Forum, but somehow it didn't feel right to put it there.

SO happy for you Carol! Please get all the hugs and kisses you can keep in your heart. Aniti - thank you for the information. Sorry to hear that you have a Spring cold. No Fun. Do you like honey? Try this: 1 teaspoon of lemon, followed by 1 teaspoon of honey - then I would have a cool glass of water - for my taste buds. ( lemon - quick shot of Vitamin C and the honey is an ancient healer, besides a wonderful gift from the bees.) My mother-n-law would give my husband 2 aspirim and a shot of tequila - it worked! And my dad - a severe diabetic - take a shot of Jack Daniels Black Label #7. He HAD to take this, It was ordered by his Mayo Clinic doctor - it helped his circulation in his legs and helped with the pain too. He swore by it as a all around good medicine. But if you don't widh to try our fmaily cure alls - you just might have to give in and see the doctor. Good luck and feel better soon is my wish Terry PS If this turns up on the site twice, sorry about that. I was checking something and my message dissappeared - so I re-did it.

Have a wonderful trip, Carol. What part of Japan?

Terry, the page four is in the service record, not the contract. Although now that I think of it, page four is training records, page two is dependents and record of emergency data. I missed that, sorry, a little off today, I am really sick. I've looked at so many page fours as an LPO I am surprised I goofed. Anyone want to take my cold away?

The contract becomes page one (several ones, in fact) of their service record.

Hi,
I received this recipe from my cousin. I thought it was funny and inviting. No - I have not tried it yet - but I did want to share.

5 Minute Chocolate Mug Cake

4 tablespoons - Flour
4 tablespoons - Sugar
2 tablespoons -Cocoa
1 - egg
3 tablespoons - Milk
3 tablespoons - Oil
3 tablespoons - Chocolate Chips (optional)
A small splash of Vanilla Extract
1 large Mug ( microwave safe)

Add dry ingredients to mug ( and mix well). Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in milk and oil and mix well. Add chocolate chips ( if using the chips ) and vanilla extract - mix well again. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed. Allow to cool alittle and tip out onto a plate if desired. EAT !
(This can serve two if you want to feel slightly more virtuous ) And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world ? Answer:
Because, now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake any time of the day or night ! Enjoy Terry
