Hi Kim, The nearest Navy Federal Credit Union is a good 2 hours away, and I'm not sure if it's actually on base, which I don't have access to.  It's the only bank account she has, darn it.  It's not a huge deal, I told her I could also mail her the check along with my usual care package, but it would take a couple weeks to arrive and she was just fine with that, but I was looking for a faster way to get it to her.

Janai'sMom, Been there, done that.  Do you have a Navy Federal Credit Union near you?

My son had his final settlement check sent to my house when he sold his house.  I went into a Navy Federal near me, gave his social and they were able to look up his account and deposit the check.  I have done it with my other sons in college and my dad.  You write "For deposit only" on the back of the check, go to any branch of a bank (or trust) were they have an account and they will deposit it into their account.

Hi Moms, I don't comment much, but love all your stories and read all the updates.  I do have a question I'm hoping someone can answer.  My sailor got a check recently that I'd like to deposit into her Navy Federal Credit Union Account.  I have her routing information and bank account number.  How do I go about doing that?  I don't have an ATM card for that account, can I go into a branch and do it?  I hate to send it to her in the mail, I'd much rather just deposit it for her.  Any advice? Thanks!

I awoke to snow on the ground. Yes, that cold ! luckily its melting but the cold is staying. So that means all trick or treaters will be dress alike - snow suits.

Josh - sounds so fun your camping trip. Hope sailor gets in his golfing too.

Blondie - we need to find that pumpkin.

Hey , I need to run. wish all a great day  hugs

Good morning and Happy Halloween!

Love those "flu" shots!  and Jack...what a cutie!

Been busy here.  Went on our annual Halloween camping trip last weekend.  Everyone decorates their campsite and the little people trick-or-treat on Saturday evening.  The weather was very warm...sunny and 80's...so we had lots of kiddos! But Mother Nature has decided to change things.  It's suppose to be in the low 30's by game time tonight...yep football is still going on.  Our team is 10-0!  WooHoo!

Got a wonderful phone call from Sailor the other day.  His ship has pulled into a port and he's enjoying some R&R.  He was going golfing with his buddies....wished him luck...golfing is a first for him.  He's always so happy and content with his life...does this momma's heart good to hear his chipper voice!

Hope you all have a spooktacular weekend!!!

HI

 Teh flowers are beautiful Barb.

Secret - Blondie has a secret and she isn't telling?! Blondie I think you need a flu shot - maybe several.

Maggs - doing better? You too Anti M and Kim.

How nice hubby was home Anti M . Glad you had a chance to get out, but sorry about the dishwasher.

Now we are moving teh washer and dryer down stairs. Good thing too- found out teh first owners did NOT have teh plumbing done right. So it will be corrected too and an April Air installed on the furnance. So dry in this house.

Been so busy with scouts. Not just my sessions  - BUT all the extra events I HAD to go attend. I am even teaching a session this Saturday. They say a volunteer is needed and for some reason - up shoots my hand. My wiring must have a glich in it.

Getting ready for trick or treater. Carving pumpkins tonight.

And CANDY  - are we ever ready .

Wish all a great day  hugs

Lots of leaves still on the trees, but after this weekend, they'll be coming down fast!  Today was beautiful, sunny & 74.  We're getting that wintry mix right on trick or treat night:(
Got the last of the tomatoes and that is a wrap for this growing season.

AntiM-sounds like a fun drive!  Too bad about the floor, but hey, new dishwasher should be cool.  Mmmm, food sounds so good.

Blondie- you can't do that!  you have to Tell us what the good news is!!!
