Hey Everyone! I recently joined this group...my son has been in Atsugi since April. Before that he spent 2 years in Bahrain. I've been on Navy for Moms since he left for Boot Camp and it has been a great support system for me. I look forward to getting to know everyone :-)

Prayers for all missing their sailors. Remember that they are God's children and that he gave them to us to raise.  God loves them even more than we do (imagine that)!!!  I pray also for the sailors during their time away from loved ones.  It's hard of all of us.  I love that we are here to help each other. DREW, MOMPLUS2 and tytulip40 - special prayers during this time.

MAGGS- that makes sense that maybe he doesn't want to call because he's homesick. I'm hoping that's the only reason.
Thanks magg

BLONDIE I know... I just feel so alone at times... I try to get out and do things but it always come back to my son. Every time I fall down I just keep getting back up and I get knocked down again.. After my daughter died I went to a therapist for 4 years, maybe I just need to go back and just talk. I feel like I've lost 2 kids. uGH.... Thanks again Blondie everyone is so wonderful..
