HI
WOW - Happy Dance has started !!! Oh how exciting Joshmom !!!! Please share pictures and a hug from all of us with your sailor that he is home for the holidays !!!
And Miss - give that gentleman of a son a hug too. You must be still bursting with pride. I think he knows how your decorations are appreciated by all who come by. But honest - he helped out because he knows how much it means to you and he wanted his mom happy.
Ok- call on a vote. All in favor of Blondie taking it easy - aka - slowing down - post YES ! Maybe if she SEE how many YES' there are - she will.
So - YES = Blondie ! ( gentle hugs friend, you have a lot on your plate - but - YES !)
Drew - hope by now you are feeling all the hugs from here. And that your heart feels some better.
Maggs- I agree, a green December is weird. Now we have rain too. But hoping soon for things to settle down and go better for you. hugs
Anti M - will start sending Reiki energy and then restart the energy again after your surgery. May be you can have Egg Nog - that's a liquid. Even chocolate cake! Hey, at a fast food place called Portello's - they have the best chocolate cake and they make it into a shake. That's a liquid too. WE here could send a list of liquid meals to the hospital for you . then you would have good eats :).
Hey- Riker is awake from nap and grandpa needs help . Not to mention the laundry fairy moved in!
Hugs all
And no - not done with shopping
Congratulations Joshmom! Woohoo coming home for Christmas! So excited for you to see his homecoming. There is nothing like it all. We were blessed to get to see our son come back from an 8 month deployment. I will never forget that feeling.
Blondie, prayers for you and your family. I know I am wasting my breath, but whew girl, you need to slow down just a little bit!
We are still moving right along on the kitchen...making progress but sometimes not fast enough for me. Although we did take a break from it last night. Hubby was just really tired after work, and I was too. I think our weekend caught up with us. We worked really hard all weekend and made a lot of progress, but it does finally catch you. I guess we will be working tonight to try to make up for last night. I will be off tomorrow afternoon and I hope to get a lot done. I finally got my decorations up. Didn't put them all up, but did enough. My yard has been a work in progress, but I have finally quit there, too. One of my neighbors stopped by and told me that his children love all my gingerbread cut outs and if we see them stopped it is the boys wanting to see it all again. I told him to bring them any time. I told Hubby this is why I do it. We also have 2 nursing homes that load the residents onto their buses and bring them out to see the lights in our neighborhood and they always stop and look. It is a lot of hard work, but so worth it to know that one person enjoys it. My son helped me this year as my hubby was rather busy. Son told me to just let it go and forget it this year, that we were just too busy to worry about all of that stuff in the yard. I just smiled and told him I would get it whenever I could and I would do a little at a time. I got home 2 weeks ago from dentist on Thurs. and he called as I was walking the door and said, "Mom are you working on Christmas in the yard?" I told him I was about head outside and he said wait on me, I have to hook up trailer and I will be there to help you get it all out. That sure did make my heart smile, and I would have never got it all done without him. He worked so hard and did all of the driving of the stakes and securing it all. Even though I told how much I appreciated all of his help, he will never know how much it meant to me. I stopped and thanked the Lord for the man he is becoming.
Does everybody have all of their shopping done? I still have a few more things to get, and have got to get started wrapping!
Drew, hugs, prayers, and love coming your way....
AntiM, will be praying for you. I hope you enjoy your Christmas and all of the goodies.
Hope all is well!
Wonderful, joshmom! So happy for you.
I am so happy for you Josh mom that is awesome Maggs Drew and Anti M will be keeping you all in prayer.
We did get a lot of the Christmas decor up. I go in for major surgery on the 28th. They'll keep me about a week. Then I'll have several weeks of recovery. Yuck. Clear liquid diet for two days after Christmas. That's no fun.
Gentle hugs to you Drew. I know you will find the message you need.
DRAMA !!!! Hi girlfriend !!!! Oh I get so exciting when everyone checks in :).
AS usually you have a full plate of things to do. (Sorry about the pun) And wishing you much happiness in the Festival of Lights. I have my fingers cross that soon you will be sharing that you are doing so much better - so much better - that you are on the stage again. Until then - I send hugs.
Kim - you flurt. So where did you two go on your date? We are all ears here. Looks like you are having fun - send more gossip and pictures please.
Maggs - check in please. Not feeling you. Either you have broken a toe again or Angel climb the tree and all the ornaments are scattered around the house.
Blondie - I have a feeling you are about to go into over time of activities. Please remember to share a bit a time here.
Miss, Josh mom - times for updates from you both.
And my grandson, should be taking off running - not walking - any moment now. And I cannot keep up. If I do - I should be a size 10 in days !
Need to split - that Laundry Fairy moved in! Hugs to all.
