CLAMOM. - YES!!! Amen, one othe the best scriptures thank you so much!!!! I needed that

BLONDIE - I am so sorry for your loss as well, I know the pain to well. Yes I do have a support system but it still hurts, I think I could have taken it better had she died to an illness, car accident..... But suicide, yes I had counseling for a few years - I always asked was I a good mother???? Everyone says she couldn't have had a better mom, did I do something wrong???? but I question myself all the time. You never get over the pain and this hole in my heart will be here forever, but I've learned to cope better. Just venting I guess but this is suppose to be a happy time of year enough about me. Thank you so much for your support and hearing my cries. No I haven't joking the pray wall how do I do that

KJSDAUGHTER- Thank you so much

JESUSINTHEBOAT: Thank you too!

CLAMOM: As i go through grief, as i center my focus on what is ahead of me as a Christian. I have to take a day at a time. Tomorrow may be different. Yesterday is a canceled check, tomorrow is a promissory note, but today is cash.

I'm at a point where I need to decide whom I will lean on, trust, and put my hope in. Now is the time to search God's Word and hold on to this lifeline. God will meet me where I am, at my point of pain. He is the only way out of despair.

The bible says Listen to God's promise to you and claim it: "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart'" (Jeremiah 29:11-13).

I realize that I need to search the Bible and seek my way with all the strength I've got left.
Thanks for listening moms you all are wonderful.

BLONDIE; Talk about STRESSFUL I lost my 21 year old daughter to suicide 5 years ago this time of the year. One week after I buried her I got her acceptance letter to John Hopkins School of Medicine. Now my 20 year old son in Japan said he won't/can't come home for Christmas because of assignments that he needs to do and he didn't turn his Chit in on time and it didn't get approved so you want to talk about stress.. UGH
But I do believe that God will pull me through, he didn't bring me this FAR TO LEAVE ME NOW! A mom is not suppose to bury her children... :-(
as a mom I have to keep going for my son. Happy Holidays everyone

Hi All! I have not fallen off the planet....been reading and not posting. It has been 8 months since I started the Autoimmune Protocol and I am beginning to feel better...long haul! I have another 8 months before I try to start adding foods. Based on an inadvertent consumption of something with sunflower oil, I am guessing I may have to just adopt this as a way of life. It made Thanksgiving interesting!

Love all the pictures!!! My son was home for a couple of weeks in October around my birthday (not sure if I posted that). It was fun to have him around. He has an awesome sense of humor which was greatly appreciated.

Chanukah started last night. I love the glow from the candles. It's about bringing light into darkness and rededicating ourselves. All the wonderful fun foods are not on my approved food list...boohoo. I have to tell you, potato latkes made from sweet potatoes with arrowroot flour and gelatin instead of eggs are not quite the same!

We had a lot of RAIN today. I know, the NW you expect rain but it usually doesn't fall in buckets without a break. You would think people who live in the NW would know how to drive in the rain...not so! I never got our of 2nd gear on my 8 mile drive home.

Hope everyone is well! I will keep reading. Let you know when I am ready to start audtioning again, T-Lynn.

I did go through this thing with having to sign on again. I have been on N4M for 4 years in January!
