HI

Love your rattling on Josh. Need more please :)

Blondie - positive thoughts are still coming. Thank you for the update about Uncle !!!!! Lifted my spirit too.

Barb - tree? Still the tree up? I am trying to decorate for Valentines day and can't get motivated. Think a box of chocolates would help me?

Love teh  hair Shelly!! Look very young.

Me too - have to get things done. And now finding out - oldest son might have caught pneumonia from me. Let you know     hugs all

Stopping in to say "hello" and trying to catch up.

Blondie - praying and will continue!

Cheryl - you look great!  I'm turning the BIG ONE later this month but ain't quite ready to go gray!  And I'm trying to let my hair grow long but it probably won't happen, just don't have the patience.  Good luck with the galapoloza.  A few years back one of my sisters turned fifty on Thanksgiving Day so the entire family surprised her by showing up to dinner dressed as old people.  She thought it was hilarious and she was the youngest looking one there!

Tlynn - had to chuckle about the pic of your sailor's feet....my sailor must have taken photography lessons from him! Just last week he called and was telling me he had to buy new ribbons to get his dress blues ready for a change of command ceremony.  I told him I would love to see a pic of him in his dress blues....I got a pic alright...a close up of his ribbons on his shirt!  I quickly fired back an email saying I wanted to see HIM in the pic and his reply was "LOL I'll get around to it eventually"  ugh!!!  Prayers for your DIL and anxious for the arrival of that precious baby.

Shelly - what a sweet son you have.  Haven't seen the movie yet and not sure I want to...I know I'll cry.  Glad he's been home to visit.

Youngen hurt is back wrestling, pulled some muscles, but is doing better now.  Coach is making him sit out this week but luckily he's only missing one meet and has almost two weeks before next big tournament.  Always scary though for a mom to see your kid get hurt.  Got our puppy neutered last week. Vet said to keep him calm for a week  LOL  that's impossible for a 7 month old lab!  He did well though and has had no problems.  Hubby got all his teeth pulled to get dentures and he's not exactly been a joy to live with!  I've been fixing soup and making him milk shakes.  A soft food diet is harder than I thought!  The January thaw has brought beautiful weather here to the midwest.  Spent the day yesterday cleaning out my camper...can't believe how much stuff I accumulated over the past 8 years in there!  But will be bring home a new one soon.  Been shopping around for months and finally find one I like (of course the dealer made us an offer too good to pass up so that pretty much made up my mind)

Well I've rattled on long enough and really need to get to work.  Have a great day ladies!

Blondie, so sorry to hear, hugs and prayers being said.

T-lynn, I think you're right-I vaguely remember glasses; those must not have lasted.
gl to your dil-can't be long now:)
wish the packers had won:(

Shelly, yes, agree, loving son, a blessing for sure.

Cheryl-don't know what it looked like before, but your hair looks great on you- I like it:)

Well, got around to taking down the Christmas tree today.  So much more room:)

Jump'n on the hair color comments. Started turning gray when I was carrying the sailor (late 20s) so started coloring back then. Well last year I hit the BIG one and decided to stop coloring and see what it would look like. Also had it long & cut short. It took courage, but it everyone loves it and believe it or not they say it makes me look younger. Whatever you decide make it right for you - no one else.

Go Packers !!!!!!

Gentle hugs Blondie

And Reiki energy continues. Take some for you too!

You right about - NOT being able to rest when your body needs it because you HAVE to do the job. Be it home or work.  It is in writing here - You were right!

Oh, Shelly what courage you have. And what a loving son you have. I still can not see the movie. The previews on  tv - I turn away. It is good to  hear that the movie does the story justice though. Thanks.

 Still no baby.

And I have to get - I have a scout meeting today. Not wanting to go - my cough came back and I hate being in public hacking.

wish all a great  day  hugs

My prayers to you and family, Blondie.

I am on the count down to the day my sailor heads back to Japan. My husband and son wanted to see American Sniper so off we went. It was an amazing, intense movie. Warning to Navy Moms, take tissues. I usually don't watch these movies because it hurts my heart so much. To see this man's life, overwhelming. So much respect for these men and women. I stayed strong thru most of it but on the way home we stopped for gas and my son was in the back and the tears started. I reached around to the back seat to get his hand. He reached around the seat to hug me. He knows his mother so well.
Hugs to all and have a great weekend.

Hi.

Positive thoughts and healing Reiki on the way.

I think you would be stunning with a purple streak down the back. Add some diamonds to it too. AS Anti M said - go with the trend. Or is that go with the flow?

Keep that Kool Aid pitcher!!! Last one I saw was in an antique store and it was at a good price too. I thought some glass were made too.

And Anti M, I remember you posting some pics of you in your dyed hair colors. Look great, but love that new pic of you in your yellow blouse and shade umbrella.  Talk about a Pin Up Girl !!!!

Wine Trail? did I miss a message?

Well, still on baby watch. Poor dil had to go the hospital. She was in so much pain. she stayed over night BUT this time the doc did say you ARE in labor. And she is dilated to 1 and the nurse stated she could feel the head. So today I went with her to her appointment. Now the doc stated the baby will come earlier than he expected. Really ? Last night I used a rolling pin up and down her back to give her comfort.

Keep you posted.

Need to get - have to get ready for scouts. Two sessions today. Wish all of you a great weekend. hugs

PS Yes, Blondie you are right :).

Whoa, my eyes are on sun overload, ha ha.  Third day in a row with blue skies.

T-lynn, glad you are resting.  Hopefully, the year will only get better for your friends; in the meantime, sending prayers and positive thoughts.   love the sandals pic, ha ha.

Blondie, winter is cold, but beautiful, love the description of your morning ride.  The moon was out the other night, making bright shadows on the snow-so pretty.
I don't dye my hair either, but, then again, I didn't start going grey in my 40's.
Oh, and btw- we Still have our kool-aid pitcher somewhere!

Cheryl, coming up blank for ideas, wine trail just keeps popping through my brain.

Comment by Anti M on January 14, 2015 at 9:44am

LOL, Blondie, it is Kool Aid!  Color streaks are very common today, may as well embrace the trend.

My silver is coming in nicely.  I gave up dyeing about three or four years ago. I was a natural blonde all my life, and colored some when the  greys showed up in my 40s. I went full purple for my 50th year, then faded to pink.  After that it was burgundy, then stepped down to reds. I finally let it grow out, for a while I had a beautiful ombre, red on the bottom, greys and dark blonde on top.  Now I have dark blonde with wide swatches of silver. I love it.
