Whoa, my eyes are on sun overload, ha ha. Third day in a row with blue skies.
T-lynn, glad you are resting. Hopefully, the year will only get better for your friends; in the meantime, sending prayers and positive thoughts. love the sandals pic, ha ha.
Blondie, winter is cold, but beautiful, love the description of your morning ride. The moon was out the other night, making bright shadows on the snow-so pretty.
I don't dye my hair either, but, then again, I didn't start going grey in my 40's.
Oh, and btw- we Still have our kool-aid pitcher somewhere!
Cheryl, coming up blank for ideas, wine trail just keeps popping through my brain.
LOL, Blondie, it is Kool Aid! Color streaks are very common today, may as well embrace the trend.
My silver is coming in nicely. I gave up dyeing about three or four years ago. I was a natural blonde all my life, and colored some when the greys showed up in my 40s. I went full purple for my 50th year, then faded to pink. After that it was burgundy, then stepped down to reds. I finally let it grow out, for a while I had a beautiful ombre, red on the bottom, greys and dark blonde on top. Now I have dark blonde with wide swatches of silver. I love it.
Meant so say - Grandmas to be - here - ....
HI
I agree, what does or what do kids expect a Grandma to look like? All the Grandma's and Grandmas to be are drop dead beautiful and sexy ! So hey, I think the kid gave you a compliment :). Fingers crossed that all goes well for you kids.
Blondie, trying to rest. Now I sound like you - "trying ". Promise doing my best. Finally cough is softer but still there. I thought I had gotten rid of it, but no, it likes me too much. So you now have a gray streak going down teh back of your head? Now if you had two doing down the sides of your face - we all could call you Lily - Just like Lily Munster of tv fame :). But with just one streak down teh back - you can dye it the same color of your dress! You would so in style!
wish all a great day - have to talk with the Laundry Fairy. she brought her cousin the Ironing Fairy. hugs all
HI
I am still here - coughing still . I was lucky, there were three wind chill days so no school. No school = no Scout Reach. I covered up and rested. I think I am in the last stage of it - I can now cough it up and out.
I wish I could share that I too have final joined the Grandma club - but no. some one is stalling. Poor DIL is still having those faults labor pains - except at night they get stronger. She is to see the doc this Friday. Will send out update
Gentle hugs. I know the feeling of wanting to cry. And it is ok to do so. You will find your way to deal with it and you can always come her for hugs. :)
Its good to see the pictures and hear the chatter here.
I am out of sorts too. I called to check on three five friends and what I found out just has put me into a "This can't be happening" mood. Summing it up: between friends this all has happened: friend loosing job on the 16th, friend's daughter all of sudden having learning problems in school and no clue why, friend in nursing home getting pnuemonia, and a dear couple had property damage by kids - nurse messed up paper work so eye surgery canceled, her hubby cut off three fingers using his circular saw and the day he got his stitches out - someone rams the back of their car exploding the back tire. Luckily they were not hurt. I got off the phone and thought I had listened to an old radio soap opera. I have heard of new years starting out rough, but gee!
Thanks for the ears all.Promise to have good news soon. Still trying to put on photos from my cell to fb - but now my password is not recognized. I gave fb the finger. I am coughing to much to swear at it.
All take care gentle hugs
barbara10/08 we are looking at March or May-July for the Galapoloza. One's birthday is in Feb. and the is in July so we're trying to find a date in the middle that also doesn't interfere with our job/family obligations.
Cheryl-what time of year are the celebrations?
Kim, baby looks calm and happy-love the pics and the monkey.
Blondie, glad Jack is better. We are getting a Lot of high wind days around here too. Love the pics. Wreath laying-very touching. Hope to do that someday.
Bobbie-sounds like a lot on their plates, but I'm betting they'll deal with it fine. Hang in there!
Shelly, so glad your son is home for more than a couple days! I'd be the employee to call in. I think it's normal to feel jealous; but so great that they have a good relationship.
Youngestson, pics? post away-love seeing them:)
Sometimes they ship out right away like that. He'll e-mail you with his ship e-mail address, which will be used just when he is on the ship. Their computer time is limited.
T-lynn, pnuemonia! forget work- get Lots of rest and chicken soup!
Mtnmom-Sometimes I get like that too-but sooner or later it catches up- delayed reaction (hugs)
Maggs-glad your better.
Hope everyone sick is feeling better. Nasty stuff going round.
My christmas stuff is coming down next weekend.
Okay need some help. This year my sister & step-sister are celebrating the BIG ONE. So...I'm looking for suggestions for their Galapoloza.
