Happy Birthday Blondie!!!!  So glad you're having a good day and it sounds like you're going to have a great weekend. Celebrate as many days as you like!!!!   Love the pics and keep us updated on the wedding....we HAVE to know what's going on!

Ladies, my heart stopped when I heard of the accidents...but Praise the Lord your sons are ok.  Vehicles can be replaced...good luck with shopping & insurance

TLynn - your weekend sounds so nice....you & hubby needed to get away you've been doing so much work on your house & all.

Tonight my sons football team plays for the District Championship title....very excited!  Earlier this week he was selected All Conference Offensive Guard.  I'm so happy for him.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Happy Birthday !!! Blondie !!!

Love the boots and so happy that FINALLY you are recognized in the office as being a great  NEED. And for her to honor you too. Hey - remember - a birthday celebration is 7 days long.  CELEBRATE !!

And us - US get tired of hearing wedding plans? You need another flu shot or two.

Ok - update. My son is not hurt just real sore. A car dashed out in front of him and he and no where to go to avoid him. So my son turned a right to NOT hit the car in the drivers door. Hit the back passengers door. and spun the car away from him and on coming traffic. The accident appears to be like a Hollywood movie stunt.  Now my son is without a car for his djing jobs and interviews. Luckily the rent a car arrived this morning. And now goes the battle between insurances.

let you know how this sop opera goes.

My  Halloween weekend was nice. That Satruday - after teaching at a scout leaders training - hubby and I ran away to Brookfield, IL. There I got to see a gf and her new place :). She and her hubby were having a house warming/day after Halloween party. WE had so much fun - did I get hugs!

Then hubby and I stayed over at an Holiday Express - shopped at Woodfeild Mall - ate at the Cheese cake Factory and were just us. nice us time :)>

DIL is now really showing, but she will not let take any pcitures of her. She says she is fat. i remember that stage.Maybe one day I will get pictures up here.

Well, need to get - scout tiime  hugs

Happy Birthday, Blondie!   Sounds like your boss made your day extra special, and I am sure she appreciates you more than you know. I hope you have a very blessed birthday.

Love the new pictures!  The boot picture is cute, cute, cute.

Blondie-that looks yummy!
Tuff weekend alright! Glad eldest is ok. Prayers for the one who may be on drugs. So sad.  Just a couple snowflakes here over the weekend,  but that  wind is howling tonight!
Puppy is adorable.

Love everyone's funnies.

Joshmom-yay for that awesome football team!  So glad you heard from your sailor and that he is doing so well.

T-lynn, You guys are really on a roll with that house!
We had to redo some plumbing here too. Apparently the sump pump can no longer drain into where it was draining all these years and so we had to redirect it to the storm sewer.  Now they have to come back out to reinspect.
Boy those scouts are lucky to have you!  You have a heart of gold-that's why your hand shot up when they asked for volunteers:))

Hello Janai's Mom..I have noticed that Navy Federal Credit Union is affiliated with other branches. In my area they are affiliated with Golden 1, Schools and about 8 other credit unions. You can make a deposit in those branches as well if any of those are near you. I would just Google it. . Also, if you have Power of Attorney, you can open up a money market in her name or both names. Guess just depends how much it is. Another thought, with the power of attorney you can cash it and purchase a NEX Gift Card and send that to her. Hope this helps. Sending Navy hugs to all.!!

Janai'sMom, Call them tomorrow.  You might be able to mail it to them.  That way you can use a tracking service and have them sign for it.

Hi Kim, The nearest Navy Federal Credit Union is a good 2 hours away, and I'm not sure if it's actually on base, which I don't have access to.  It's the only bank account she has, darn it.  It's not a huge deal, I told her I could also mail her the check along with my usual care package, but it would take a couple weeks to arrive and she was just fine with that, but I was looking for a faster way to get it to her.
