LOL, Ang... I was at a meet and greet and one of the other gals bumped our drinks and soaked my clothes.  I just took them off and wore my underthings.  Fortunately, I was wearing a pretty matched turquoise set.  And a furry tail and ears someone handed to me.  No one thought anything was out of the ordinary at all.  That sort of freedom can't be had everywhere, but it is nice to know that even a fat old lady has a place in the world where she is not judged on appearance.

Hi, everyone- computer is having major issues, so haven't been on much lately.  Will be replacing it in the next few days-it will be a relief.   Funny how much a part of our lives computers are nowadays.           Thanks ladies, they ( Nolan & Blake )  are the best:).  All my kids had blonde hair when they were little,  no wait, except for redhead, and mostly all blondes on the Daddy's side too, so they really have no choice, ha ha.

TLynn, ouch! my head hurts just to think about that truck lid.  Now, you need to slow down or you will end up like my hubby-he hits his head so many times it is now a family joke. Mmm, hot apple cider is the best-now fall really must be here!

Maggs, poor little thing (chickadee). Sorry about the goldfish. We never had much luck with those.  Gave up when the last one we bought died the next day!
Did you ever leave one home for a few days with one of those feeders that dispense food?  One of our fish was apparently a clever little fella, figured out that if he pushed it, food would come out & ate himself to 10 times the size he was before we left!!!  He didn't last long after that- it was so gross!
Love the pics too!

Blondie, beautiful wedding!  Ok, gotta ask-what is the bouquet made of?  Looks like a feather bouquet maybe?  Pretty.
Yikes!  May 2015 is not that far away!  Better start looking for that mother of the bride dress!
Maine is beautiful & have never smelled pines so strongly as there!
Party weekend sounds fun:)  Connor will have a blast!

AntiM- you look so comfy!  love the parasol!

Cheryl, ditto what everyone has said.  The time difference is the hardest thing to deal with as far as communication- have you heard from him yet?  Sometimes they call right away and sometimes they are just too busy and/or tired, but you Will hear from him (hugs)

Joshmom, yay- glad they won the game-makes it so much more fun! nice pics & cute gf :))

My hubby's uncle is turning 90!  His son sent out 90 postcards to uncle's family and friends- we are to write down a memory or funny story about uncle & he will have 90 postcards to read on or around his birthday- thought this was a great idea!

Good evening everyone.  Homecoming was fabulous!  My youngen said the steak he grilled was awesome, the young lady he escorted got 4th runner up and they won the football game!!!  My son is the first one on the left (#66) and that's him after the game with his girlfriend.  Well he hasn't admitted it's his girlfriend yet but he sure has been spending a lot of time with her lately and she was very quick to run onto the field to see him after the game!

Hope you all have had a great weekend!

HI.

You bet we want pictures of teh Hot Mama in her new outfit. Blondie you will have a so much attention for all the guys. Rock it!  Oh poor sailor, fingers cross no deployment and that her job situation gets better. But with all that is happening, you can't blame the navy from wanting the BEST still in service. And she is a gem.  Conor is going to be three ? OH, how times fly.

Maggs- or should we all call you the Bomb now? What's Angel up too?

Send hugs and holding your hand Cheryl. As the Bomb (aka Maggs) stated welcome to Navy Time. That means 'maybe" And when she shared about the phone ringing - she is so right. You will know it is your sailor calling and you have the right to knock anyone out of your way to get to that phone ! that is Navy Moms Rules!. Hugs.

Anti M - you are drop dead gorious!!!! Love your outfit and yellow is your color.

Hey - check in ladies. Kim - Miss - Ang - BADma - and you know who are !!!!!! check in. Need your gossip and just to know you are ok.

Tail gating at school? what fun !!!!! Hope his team won and that his steak was perfect. Oh, he got to escort one of the princess' too!!!! Share pics.

We did no dry waling or other major jobs around the house. We just took the weekend to get rid of paper work and  stand back and see the big picture of the needs of this house. Good to rest. And why- did Fall arrive today! No higher than 60s and 40s at nght.

Going to have some hot apple cider tonight.

Wish you all an early blessing of a Happy Fall. hugs all

Thanks Ladies - trying to NOT check messages every hour. I know he's a capable young man. Knowing I'm not the only one DOES help.  Stay'n strong.

Happy Friday Ladies!

Beautiful wedding pics!

Now that's an awesome camp!  Love it Anti M!

Maggs - according to my teenager saying "the bomb" means awesome so that's quite a compliment you got!  You are the bomb!

Cheryl - hang in there we're all here for you.  Your reaction is quite normal we're all a mess until we hear from them. Take a deep breath, attempt to relax and know that everything's fine. He will call.

Well today is Homecoming.  Yeah!  It's a beautiful day upper 70's and sunny....perfect for parade.  Spent yesterday evening helping the girl and her folks finish decorating the car.  My son is excited.  He left the house this morning with his truck loaded with all his football gear, a grill and a big ole steak.  The kids tailgate at school prior to the parade so my son was looking forward to cooking his own steak.  Nothing but fun activities going on today.  The game tonight should be exciting...both football teams are 4-0.  Wish us luck!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Need some hand holding here.... Last phone call from Sailor was from his US departure airport.  He was scheduled to fly out military transport for Japan Thursday @ 1:00 AM EST. Nothing since. Mentally I know that - I would know by now if he hadn't gotten there, he can't use his US phone to contact us, was probably exhausted, can only email us if public internet is available, he may have been thrown back on a plane to get to his vessel....I know, I know...but still doesn't stop me from making myself crazy waiting....Thanks for letting me vent.

BOMB.COM ? get that define, but somehow I feel it fits you Maggs. Wild life really trust you Maggs. That is special and thanks for sharing. I still say - get in one of those contest in Birds and Bloom. You would win hands down.

Yes, Ang - new house. Sorry to all, i just can't get my act together to post pics. with trying to get some things done- dry walling, painting, breaking into  my own home because I get locked out - I just go blank on posting pictures. Will work on it.

Blondie - love the pictures. Beautiful girls. And so glad you going to catch up on gossip- sorry - I mean hair cut.

Need to get too. Today is long sessions day with scouts - Just 6 sessions - Start at 10:40 AM and finish at 5:15 PM.

wish all a great day hugs

Maggs - I am so sorry about your sailor's fish. My oldest had an aquarium and loved his fish. When the big ones got sick and left for the big fish bowl in the sky - we too buried them in our back yard. Next to the Dove - Cardinal -  two Robin - four  sparrows - baby bunny and field mouse. Weird feeling to know all those little critters are out there.

So the kitties don't play well together. For some reason, I get teh feeling it is Angel who gets picked on.

Weather here is cold and damp. I just had to get my feet wet today too. Now I cannot get that cold chill out of my body. Better get some Jack :)

Need to split - hubby just came home  hugs all
