Must've been a stomach bug for me, my youngest daughter and I seem to be passing it back and forth.  Better now.

Kim-Whoo Hoo!  Welcome to the grandma club:)) Wonderful news-Congratulations!

Huskies, glad he is conected-nice to see them face to face:)

Badma, now that Is frustrating.

T-Lynn, glad you survived, ha ha.
I am sure it was awesome-all those boys gathered together, a common purpose, great memories-and there couldn't have been too many mosquitos yet, right?!
Looking forward to the stories:)
Would love for your dil to get that baby-positive thoughts and prayers on the way.

Hi

yippee - Baby Pool!!! Congrats Kim !!!!!!  Please share some that congrats with your son and dil.

I say its a girl - 6 pounds adn 7 ounces. 18 inches long

Date: November 4th, 2014.

Love the pic and I agree. That feeling tugs at the a mommy's heart when they leave and even more so when someone else says thank you.

Will do my best in creating the spell. Please remember, the spells works because the real magic is from you and your love or your son. I just add my magic to yours :). Please keep us posted.

So Angel 0 ! She must be wanting a rematch.

I too love getting to SEE and talk with my sailor. That has only happened once. My guy gets teary when saying good by.

I agree - our guys/gals are so grown up and can take care of their boo-boos. But honest, there are those days when only us mommy's can make things better. You are still so needed DramaSoul.

Weather here is     cold-damp - rainy. Hope your weather is better. And all are safe. Saw the news this morning. positive thoughts to all of those that were in the path of that storm.

Will share about teh trip with scouts later.  all I can say is that my hubby and I survived!  Hugs all

Had a wonderful visit with my Corpsman.  He spent lots of time with his friends and we actually had a whole day together that included seeing the movie "Draft Day" (Kevin Costner...be still my heart) and a late lunch at his favorite Jewish deli. Every time I see him or hear him talk about things, I marvel at what a man he is! I learn so much from him and his sister.  I am also learning to navigate the dynamics of our relationship as he no longer needs me to wipe his nose or kiss his boo-boos (as a Corpsman he can do that himself!). I am posting the picture of him getting on the plane. He's the one with the white guitar case. It never gets any easier, does it? Sigh.  I commend the airlines for making it so easy for military families to get gate passes to sit in the terminal waiting for them to board the plane.  As we were going through TSA, the guy looked at my son's ID and said "Thank you for your service and stay safe."  I started to tear up and he said as he looked at my ID, "And thank you, Mom, for yours."  I am tearing up again just remembering it.

Kim....MAZEL TOV...as we say in my house!

I'M GOING TO BE A GRANDMA!!!!!

I'll read and talk more later.  Sailor arrived for visit yesterday while DIL is visiting her family.  He received a phone call from her last night with the news.  They did the test 5 times.  He said that he will take her to West Point (closest base) when she gets home.

Hi girlnboots.  When my daughter left, we were able to get a gate pass at the airport with no problem.  We arrived with plenty of time to spare (like 3 hours, I'm weird about airport stuff) and got the gate pass when she checked in her luggage.  We had a nice breakfast at the terminal, and I was able to see her board the plane.  Good luck on the next leg of this journey!
