Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Anti M thank you so much for your advice. I hope that he will be able to call us this weekend so that I can let him know what you told me. I am very thankful for this group. It has helped me and my husband out so much.

T-Lynn, you have my permission for the protection/truth spell.

Oneproudmom - Anti m KNOWS and her advice is always good.  Will keep positive thoughts his way and with your permission - I would create a protection/truth spell. let us know how things go.

Kim and Miss - sorry, I was not giggling - i was laughing my head off!  Not that you got hurt, but gee wiz - I worry hat you both have some magnet in your toes that draw injuries!! I got to get that Mojo bag done! hey - Miss making one for you now!

Miss- great news about nephew and BILs.   I just can't image - liquid Easter Peeps though.Hope they get to solids soon.

MyKid - I agree - your sailor was station at a differnt base for a reason. You'll find out soon. An keep us posted on oldest. positive thoughts still coming.

Blondie - great jokes. Let us know about if Easter Box arrives and a you so need a vacation. That is my wish for  you

Hey - Barb busy as usually. Sorry about that stomach bug. Have not had that around here - it is more sinus troubles.  Do hope you get well soon.

Oh - now my brain kicked in :).

Maggs - you have to write a book about Angel. Again I couls just see it all happening. Chasing that moth - shoeing out the window only for it to rush back in and Angel doing  arial stunts to get that moth. You were laughing - ust think how that Moth was laughing at all of you!

A request captain's mast is simply being able to formally speak to the CO in private.

Comment by Anti M on April 25, 2014 at 1:49pm

Oneproudmom, your son should not have to take this crap.  He needs to go above his supervisor;s head, there are approved ways to do that.  First, he has to speak to his chief, and if that gets no results, his Div-o (division officer).  If that does not bring results, of the chain is protecting the supervisor, he can request to talk to the Command Masterchief or the XO.  He can also ask for a request Captain's Mast if no one in his chain will listen.  That us drastic, but I did it once and nothing negative came of it.   Yes, this can cause waves for him, but if he stands his ground, he can potentially get the supervisor straightened out.

Oneproudmom, I don't know what to say.  We are here for you, let us know.

MyKid, I agree, there is a reason.  I hope your son saw the USS Boxer return today.  I watched it on the webcam.  It is the ship my son detached from the day before it deployed 8 months ago.  Please keep us posted on both of your sons.

Blondie, "fixed" isn't a word in my vocabulary.  "till next time" is more like it.  I am like our sailors, I just roll with it.  It doesn't hurt that my podiatrist is a good looking man.

Okay everyone, I am not one to post much on here but looking for advice if nothing else to make me and my husband sleep better and not worry too much. Our son has been deployed for several months now and it appears that he is a target of some bully's. When he first told us, we were concerned and gave him our best advice to look these people in the eye and take no crap. The harassing  has not appeared to lessen, as a matter of fact, it has escalated. In the last couple of days several of these bully' return from shore leave intoxicated and physically accosted him. and destroyed some of his personal electronic equipment. He has tried to talk to the chaplain but that person has been out on emergency leave. He feels that if he is to report this to his superiors, the situation will only get worst. It appears that one of the bully's is his supervisor. If anyone could give us advise, it would very much be appreciated. We just know what this may escalate to. Thank you.

OK update for you all...My Sailor is gone as of this morning and is now on the newest LPD in the fleet but based out of San Diego not Japan.  Lots of craziness with numbers this morning...flew out on the 25th to ship 25...left out of gate C22 and had boarding position of C22...then his flight was the same as my birth year.  Hoping I hear from him once he is all checked into his new command.  As far as my oldest Son, we had the labs drawn for the LHON genetic test and did just get results back yesterday on a different one that shows he has the MTHFR genetic mutation which just adds more confusion and fear since even his primary doc has no experience nor much knowledge of the mutation.  Still waiting to see the results of LHON tests which will not be back until May 15th ish.  I pray God gives my Son a break soon and that we can gain some understanding to what all this means for him.  I want to again thank all of you for your support and prayers and my Sailor is very sad he had his orders changed so abruptly with his hard orders in hand for the Denver in Sasebo to only now end up in CA.  God made the change for a reason, got to believe.

Okay, so had a stomach bug for a couple days, it went away & now it's back again:(     Anyone else have this problem or am I just lucky?

Glad Harry is better though.  I can relate to being traumatized by drs:)

Huskies, could also be that they keep them super busy when they first arrive.....that & the time change they have to deal with. Most of them are pretty wiped out the first week or so.  Don't worry, he'll be in touch when he can-some moms only get a quick phone call, so the fb messages are a bonus.  It'll get better(hugs)

Kim, ok, I'll admit I giggled too ( a little.)  The description sounded awful.         You reminded me of my hubby-he has a habit of hitting his head to the point where everyone just snickers when they see another scratch up there.  He is bald on top, so no hiding it.  We'll try to say (with concern) what did you do now?  He'll pretend he doesn't know what we are talking about.  Your head, what did you do??  Him- where?  I don't feel anything....

Unfortunately, there is not much in the way of wifi on the bases.  It sucks pretty bad, sorry!  I thought the USO had it too?

Big Kitty (Harry) seems to be doing better, he is next to me on his bed.  I think going to the vet was as traumatic as not feeling well.
