Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii

Information

Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii

It's actually a Marine base but my son is in the Navy and is stationed along with a lot of others that make up Navy forces. And I would love to hear information from others about the area, or others that have family or friends stationed there.

He will be with VP 9.  He is a AM.  I am excited for him as I grew up in Hawaii and miss it greatly.  I am hoping he makes friends out there.  Continue

my son says to go to the flea market at the Punch Bow (is it twice a week??)....great prices on new things, its not all used stuff.  My son bought new tee-shirts there for about $1.00 each, and kitchen items, etc.

..good deals....daysleeper knows more about this I think??

My son said goodbye to K-Bay and is now deployed with his P- 3 Squadron for 6 months on distant shores, so communication will be sketchy....skype & email when he can----Christmas and the New Year will be very different without him home on family leave........sigh.....   :-(

He said Oahu was just 'cooling down' too so he could wear his jeans again!!  hee hee

October 13, 1775 - The Continental Congress voted to outfit 2 sailing vessels armed with 10 carriage guns, as well as swivel guns, and crews of eighty. Their mission was a cruise of three months to intercept transports carrying munitions and stores to the British army in America.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NAVY!!
