To the family of Corpsman Swink, especially our N4M sister: my heart and soul go out to you during this time of sorrow. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

May Mary the most merciful Virgin Mother of God, kindest comforter of them that mourn, commend to her Son the soul od this His servant, that through her maternal intercession, he may overcome the dread of death and, with her as guide, joyfully reach his longed-for home in the heavenly fatherland.

Prayer at the Death of a Child
Lord Jesus, I place myself in your hands. Be with me and my family and friends as we mourn the death of the son we so loved.
Help us to stay close to you and to one another as we struggle each day to accept the challenge of living without Grant. May he be always at your side to share in the light and glory of your eternal life, happiness and peace.
Psalm 41 Prayer (Proper 7B).

Remember us, gracious God when we are lonely and depressed and support us in the dark night of grief and despair, for your love is faithful and you do not forget your broken ones. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ the Lord.

Saints of God, come to his aid!
Come to meet him, angels of the Lord!
Receive his soul and present him to God the Most High.

May Christ, Who called you, take you to Himself;
may angels lead you to Abraham's side.
Receive his soul and present him to God the Most High.

Give him eternal rest, O Lord,
and may Your light shine upon him forever.
Receive his soul and present him to God the Most High.

We commend our brother, Corpsman Swink to you, Lord.
Now that he has passed from this life,
may he live on in Your presence.
In Your mercy and love, forgive whatever sins he
may have committed through human weakness.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Bless you and your family
with love
DeAnna

You can vote for Molly once every day. Vote and then get all your friends to vote. She's been number 2 for the last few times I have voted!

Hey NurseNavyMom hope Chad had a great birthday and it is very difficult not being around them for their birthday. Our son turned 21 a few days after BC and although we spent the weekend with him and celebrated still hard not being with him no matter what their age is.

Hey ladies! Don't know if you know about this or not. There's a group on here - Molly's Adopt a Sailor. They are very active sending packages to our troops. They're in a contest to win $25,000 to donate to their cause......every box sent costs $12.95 each...that's just postage. Can you imagine how much the money would help? Right now, everything is out of pocket so $25,000 would go a lonnnng way.
Pls vote daily - I just voted and right now we're in 3rd place - vote and bump us to 1st! Thanks!
