Hi all!  Does anyone here know how to get in touch with this member Deb, Kasie's mom?  And if so, could you ask her to PM me?  Thanks so much!

To daubersmom, thank u!  I'd like to learn when my daughter will know her next destination after A School and when she may get t come home for a visit...Im so anxious to see her at graduation and to know where and what she'll be doing next. I have empty-nest syndrome and a need to be informed! Any help is appreciated and thank u for replying to my message.

proudmom, thank you for the advice...My daughter seems to be doing well at the A School so far except, as expected, alittle homesick. She hasn't been home since mid-January...I am hopeful she'll get liberty to come home after graduation in July...and Im anxious to know her next destination also...anyway, thank u again for the advice and I hope all is well w/ your daughter too!

Hello all, I just noticed this group and thought I would join.  My son's PIR is next week and then he will be headed to Florida.  I noticed I live close to several of you (they few I clicked).  I would love to be included in any get togethers if possible.  I live south of Overland Park about 15 miles, which is about 25 south of Kansas City if that helps.

Shanarena first of all, this is a great group for getting answers to all your questions. I would caution you about listing any dates or names relating to your child or their travel itinerary. You want them to be safe and this website says not to for your child's safety and the safety of other sailors please don't list travel plans. I am not picking on you at all as you haven't listed travel info it's just a "be careful".
My daughter is at DLI and says its quite difficult lots of studying and continuous testing makes her sick at her stomach. The best you can do is be very supportive ;-). Good luck and welcome
