Since my question about getting together, my sons wife has had a baby girl! Natalie Renee. He is in the Army stationed at Ft Campbell with the 101st Airborne. We will e leaving Sunday morning to go see our new granddaughter so I won't get to join this get together but hopefully there will be more...
My Navy daughter was home for a break they had and it was wonderful to spend a few days with her as I see her so infrequently now.
So I am quite lucky to be able to see both my military kids in two weeks time!!
Have fun meeting each other

Don't know if this is open to all Kansas moms but if the celebration of meeting everyone is open to all of us somewhere I missed that invite. If not I hope you all gave a great time getting to know each other :-)

Hi, all.  I would love to join you on Sunday, but no guarantees.  It's husband's birthday weekend.  Major celebration on Sat, but you never know.

How will I find you if I can swing it?  I'll wear a navy cap.

FYI--son is MM at Power School at Goose Creek, SC.  (mechanic's mate in the nuke program--it's so hard to keep all the abbreviations for the rates straight!)

Hope to see you!

Carol
