I grew up in Liberal. Greg is going to start Airman and hopefully test for AE or AT. He wanted Nuke so bad. He averaged a 280 on the ASVAB but since the NAPT got out he couldn't take it, otherwise he would have qualified for it. He was so disappointed. Now, that he signed his APact a new NAPT has come on the scene but I don't think they will allow him to take it. I would love the opportunity to do a meet and greet with moms. I think it would be neat even if it could only be once a month. I am not a great planner but maybe together we could get something going. I'm game!

Hello Everyone! I am a new DEP momma. Gregory just signed on and leaves for BC on 15 Feb 2012. We are in Scranton. I teach in Topeka and my husband works at KSDE. We have family in the military but never really experienced it this close to home...MY BABY! I am very proud of him and hope to get a lot of information and support from other KS Mommas.

My daughter just left on Monday! I heard from her late Monday night after she settled in.  It was a quick 2min fone call.  I'm both excited and apprehensive about her joining.  This is a great site, and am glad I was introduced to it for support.  I look forward to everyones friendship and support!
