So far I loooovve the house, we were living in a one bedroom apartment before with a tinyyy bedroom. So it was a tight fit for all three of us! So I love having sooo much space again!! I haven't really met any of the people living around me yet, which kinda bummed me out...i want to get to know people in the area. Our stuff won't be here till Monday, which sucks but I'm thankful I didn't have to move it all.

My son-in-law has orders to go to Little Creek, VA end of this month, first of Sept. My daughter, his wife, and I will be moving and relocating to VA, also. Long story, why the mom's going for awhile, too---except to say my daughter is expecting her first baby in December. A lot of various and different things, besides, Navy and moving are going on in our lives right now, but, we just have to take one thing at a time.

Could anyone give us some help, advice---where to look for housing?? Rent or try to buy?? The kids have a cat and large german shepherd, so, I'm sure that's gonna hinder us, I'm hoping not too bad, but??-----lol

My daughter has been on/off the phone with at least six different Navy offices, always getting the same answer about the move itself. Her husband has to put the request in and set all that up from what I understand, but, the problem is she's always told their office hrs. for doing so are the same time as his classes and the office is only half day on Friday---closed weekends----so, that's virtually an impossibility.

Every one of us are all so brand new at all this and everything is just hitting hard, fast, and furious all at the same exact times----lol Please, if anyone can help or steer us somewhere or to somebody for some answers and hopefully, some solutions----we surely would be most appreciative!! Thanks so much, in advance.
