Hello everyone,

My name's Lauren and my husband, Logan, just reported to the USS George H W Bush stationed in Norfolk on April 26, so needless to say I'm new to the area and to the Navy life. We're currently living in Virginia Beach and I would love to meet some other Navy wives in the area!

Hey ladies! so looks like I'm moving out there around the 18th. :) I think a meet and greet is in order if one isn't already being planned.

So this deployment is going by really fast and my BF emailed me and he was concerned about how I was going to get from the air port to my hotel and from my hotel to the pier on homecoming morning. He offered to have some of his friends chauffeur me around but I don't know them. What would be the best hotel to stay in that is close to the air port and pier.I live in New Mexico and I would like to get to know new friend that live there so i dont feel so scared of not knowing what to do or where im at. It will help cause when my BF is back it looks like im going to be spending allot of time in Norfolk. So i need someone talk to or hang out wit while he is busy at work. So im really excited to get to know new people.
