Hi everyone :) My fiance & I are about to be stationed in VA end of July, early Aug. I was wondering if anyone has some suggestions for good neighborhoods to live or nice apartments. He is actually going to be based at Oceania & I'm going to go to school in Norfolk so we were looking for somewhere in between..any ideas?

You just have to really check the area out i know we looked at an apartment in norfolk it was beautiful but stuck in a badddd area.....Hamptons are good....Parts of Virginia Beach.....We lived in va beach 5mins from the beach and the drive was about 45mins to an hour depending on traffic... and now we live in the "new downtown va beach area " and its close to everything and the drives about 30mins to the base......If u look up any places and have names of roads id help you out cuz my husband knows it alot better than me.
