I am hoping to connect with moms who have a son or daughter who arrived at bootcamp on
December 4th. I received the I arrived at camp safely call so far and she said I would get another call in about two weeks. I'm new to this site and am still trying to navigate and get as much information as possible and missing her terribly. I can't wait to get a letter so I can write. Just hoping to connect with someone espically with the holidays coming and her birthday as well, not being able to share that with her is so much harder then I ever anticipated.

My son arrived there on December 4th.
Hi Christina, Thank you for replying! it's only been 5 days but it feels like a lifetime I'm going a bit crazy :) I still haven't received her box yet or the form letter. I thought about texting her recruiter but I've read that I should wait for the form letter. Just trying to keep myself from thinking to much.

My kiddo arrived on the 4th as well. I see some moms whos kids arrived that day, already have a letter, the form and a PIR date. Im trying to be patient but I'm hoping it will be soon. It feels like forever...

A couple of moms received their boxes this week... Nothing for me yet but I'm thinking the snow we had here is slowing things down....my fingers are crossed should be any day now. I'm so happy to hear the updates it's really helped Thank you to everyone for sharing the information it's been a great comfort

My son arrived on the 4th as well. I received the I am here call at 12:35. My sailors birthday is this months also.

I received the call on the 4th 10:30 pm eastern time it lasted 23 seconds I could barley choke out I love you . I was able to text her prior to arriving at bc.....they took her phone around 8pm I was so grateful to have that opportunity but it was still so hard hearing her voice and not being able to know how she was feeling.

Our son apparently called from his cell phone that night. It was 12:35 in the morning and I had fell asleep so when it rang I somehow mentally knew who it was and just grabbed it. It was 35 secs long. He said... I am here. Tell Miranda, she is going to enjoy it. I love you. Bye. (his wife left for there the day after he did) I took a picture of the info to keep for scrapbooking. LOL

oh my goodness they joined together.......You definitely need a Huge hug!!!! Hopefully they will see each other which is a great comfort
My son arrived on dec. 4th. Today I got "the box"... He left from Michigan, where is your daughter from? My heart is breaking, I can't eat, sleep and just want so baldly to talk to him. I also would love to connect with someone that understands what I am going thru. Please let me know if you would like my email, it would be nice to actually talk to someone that understands. Good luck. Bobbi Kenny (Nick Kenny's mom)
