Awesome, maybe they will class up together when they get there.  We are from Ohio, and I know he is looking forward to some nice weather..lol.  Btw, if your son donated his things then you may not get a box.  My son just shipped back his phone and a Tshirt to wrap it in.  He said he was going to donate the rest. (This is dad)

that's awesome. sounds like our boys are going to be together..so proud and excited for them!
Earp13 we are from Texas and Excited that my son will be 3.5 hours from us! We discussed him donating his stuff but decided he would mail it, but he could have changed his mind.....

Im jealous, we are nearly 20 hrs from there.  Heck, when I went to Corps school it was in Great Lakes, which was only 5 hours away from home.  I was home nearly every weekend.

Yes I'm lucky to have my son close to home!! I'm sure he'll be or I'll be visiting as often as possible :)

I also walk with a cane and have disabilities so its hard for me to walk long distances I need help upstairs and so on and so forth will they be able to accommodate me? how do you get to graduation from the train station. can anybody recommend a hotel to stay the night that's close to the train station.

sorry about the double post
My son left December 4 and is going to San Antonio but for Master At Arms.

Thats cool, it sounds like a pretty happening place.  Im not sure exactly what all schools are down there, but it sounds nice and safe, you cant go wrong being surrounded by medical and police personnel. lol (Dad)

MA "A" School is at Lackland AFB and HM "A" School is at Fort Sam Houston. Those are the only 2 Navy "A" Schools in San Antonio.
