My son is also leaving Dec 3rd. Just 34 more days.

My daughter is scheduled to leave Dec. 2; however, her recruiter is trying to change the date to Dec. 3. He has a large group going on Dec. 3 and would rather loop her into the group.

My son is leaving on December 3rd for boot camp.... we are an eyelash away from that day:/    Mixed emotions...... I miss him already but so so proud.....

I'm having a hard time, I'm very close to my daughter, when I think of the date that she wil leave, I feel that my heart is going to stop and I can't stop craying. I pretent to be strong in from of her and my family.

my son arrived on December 3, 2013. I'm so lost as to what's going on but want to be informed. Are you getting any information?

You won't get much information. Your SR will be able to write once a week once he is in his permanent ship (he should be able to write for the first time Sunday) and will call when the RDC schedules calls. See Arrival and What Happens at the RTC and the other Pages in Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and your PIR group once you know the PIR date, which could be 01/31/2014, to help you know what is going on and how to plan for PIR.

My son also leaves Dec 3rd from Portland Oregon

I am looking forward to meeting some other mothers that have deps/recruits leaving the same time as my son       My son leaves on december 3rd also.  uhhhh...... that is 22 days now:'(    I seem to be having a little cry now about once a day these last couple weeks.  I hope that is normal .  It seems like it is  from talking to other moms who have been thru this.
