I can't even being to tell the seasoned Navy moms how valuable this website is to us new Navy moms. Have a few questions - calling cards. I know a few has mentioned buy them at Walgreens, today I went and they had like 8 different ones - anyone have more specific information on the name or type of calling card you sent your recruit? Also, what about them being paid - do they open a new account for them at Great Lakes RTC? Don't think he brought his info. on his account at home. Just curious! Keep the information coming, its so helpful!

Nick's mom,
Go to callsforrecruits.org. Thay have calling cards for free for the recruits. You get 8, 6 for you recruit and 2 for him/her to pass on to someone who has no way to call home. They are free. We gave a donation but it isn't required. Check it out.
AWESOME, thanks so much!
I emailed CallsforRecruits, and the next day received 8 pin numbers for 8 different 20 min calling cards. He gives them out free to recruits, and gives more than enough for your son or daughter to share with other recruits. He also sells Challenge Coins on Ebay to help cover the cost of these free phone cards that he gives away. And will accept donations, too.
