Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Good Afternoon,
My name is Kris and I am brand new to the site. My son, Sean, leaves for boot camp from Connecticut on June 20, 2017. He will depart from Massachusetts. Anyone else have a child leaving that day?

Hi Kris, my son is also leaving for boot camp from Hawaii on June 20, 2017. I'm new to this site and hopefully can connect to others who have loved ones that will be there at the same time. I know that it'll take a little longer for us to receive mail and information from him once he's there so I'll be looking for any information that I can get my hands on once he ships off. Best of luck to your son!

My son leaves June 28th as well from California. We dropped him off this morning with his recruiter to head up to MEPS!! Excited, sad, proud, too many emotions and tears! Good luck sailors and families!!

My son just left for is second MEPS this afternoon and will be leaving from Hawaii for Boot Camp tomorrow. If anyone is interested, Facebook also has groups to join. I belong to both, LOL I need all the support I can get..

My son left yesterday... Received his phone call late last night.. I thought I was doing good with my emotions until we had to leave the airport! Future DEP families, you can obtain a Military Gate Pass at the airport... With that pass, you can go to the gate with them!
