Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Hi There my name is Jamie, My Husband made it to bootcamp on June 7th also. Not use to this site yet but hoping to connect with others who's loved ones are also in bootcamp. I am at home in California with our 2 year old daughter. Been married for 5 years and together for 10. Missing my husband but leaning on God and I know that the time will pass. Hope everyone else in the same situation is hanging in there too.

Yeah i am hoping time passes by very fast but these first 3 days have been way to slow. Have u got the address yet? I am waiting to get it from his parents. Sucks trying to go through other ppl. I just want to send him my letters i have already wrote three lol i am not use to not talking to him everyday. I think i will feel much better once i get my first letter from him!

I have wrote my fiance everyday since he left so tonight will be the 11th letter lol and once I get his address I gotta figure out how to get them all to him, it will probably take about 8 or 9 envelopes to do that but I know he will love each one and Im sure your boyfriend will too. And I agree with you, it does suck having to go through other people and I also agree with you that I will feel better once I get my first letter from him. (: Good luck!

Hi, I'm Sue and my son left the same day but from Arizona. This is going to be a long 8 weeks for us but I know it was the right choice for him to make and am very proud of him.

Hello Everyone, I haven't been on in awhile except to creep. My son left on the 7th as well and still haven't received the Box or form letter but am hopeful today will be the day. I wondered all day yesterday what he was doing since they have a little down time on Sundays.
