My son is leaving for bootcamp June 6th. Does anyone else have someone leaving the same time?

I know it is driving me crazy!

My boyfriend's parents received "the box" yesterday. I called the recruiter to get his address. He said it should stay the same as it is on the form letter. I hope we all get that sometime soon! Hope everyone is hanging in there. One week down!

My son left St Louis Tuesday the 6th. They actually drove up as there are 8 of them. We know Chicago and he was up there 1-1/2 weeks before he shipped out. Chris is on SHIP 13 DIV 234

Oh and at this time his PIR is 8/3. My daughter and I are administrators for PIR 8/3

How did you find out his address and pir date already? My sons recruiter said his address will come in the mail about a week after he left and his pir date would come in three weeks. He left us the 6th but flew to boot on the 7th.

His recruiter gave the info to my daughter. It is possible though that the SR changes PIR and/or Division so the SR may not get your letter or get it very delayed, so when you write letters, number them so your SR will know what order to read.

The PIR group for 08/03/12 has been set up, my brother also left June 6th.

I got the letter regarding my son yesterday and he was able to send me a note on the back of it. It was stopped mid-sentence so he must havs ran out of time, but he is Ship 11 Div 232... so excited for PIR on August 3rd

Well no letter again today, and he left on the 7th! I am getting so impatient, so I called the recruiter's office and they were great. He found his address in no time. He doesn't have the PIR date but gave me his ship and div number.

Ship 3, Div 239

I finally recieved a letter with my sons address and PIR date. YEAH!!!

My daughter left on June 6th too.  She is in div 237, ship 12.  I never got an initial phone call from her, which is really making this hard.  Mailed her my 1st letter.  Her graduation in August 3rd.  I cannot wait to see her and hear from her.
