Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

My son leaves June 25th
My son leaves June 25th..I have no other family in the military so its all new to me. I was a young mother so I always say my son in a way made me the person I am today. I'm very attached to him so its going to be very hard for me. I learned of this site through friends at work.. I hope I can find comfort and information here.

My son, my baby boy left on June 25th also and my prayers & support are with you. We have a friend whose son left 1 year ago and says this sight is amazing and so helpful that you will get so much information from it that it helps with some of the anxiety. We just got an address yesterday so look forward to that and hearing all the experiences they are getting and to letting them know how proud we are of them.

Good morning !!! We went away for 4th of July weekend and when we came home Sunday I checked the mail and was so excited to see the letter I've been waiting for. Looks like if all goes well my son will be graduating 8/23 !!!! :)
So excited I finally have a date to look forward to. Now we can start looking into flights and hotels for that weekend :)
Did anyone else recieve the same news ?

I got our letter with the same graduation date. I booked our flight to Chicago last week. I can't wait to see him. :-)
